My favourite professor by far! He is hilarious and manages to make math fun. He is very helpful one on one as well. Also if youre more of an independent leaner I would suggest checking out slander for step by step solved problems from your textbook.

Awesome prof with a good sense of humour. Kind of disappointed he's not teaching the follow-up MATH101. He keeps the lectures engaging by explaining math concepts coherently and makes it easy for students to understand. In a way he's helped me feel less stressed about first year.

Sam Walters is so amazing! I hate math, and have to take a course for a prereq but he makes concepts so clear and teaches on examples from the textbook so you're not stuck when it comes to practice questions. Also he is adorable! Takes time to answer any questions you have after class.

Amazing prof by far! He is extremely educated and makes his lectures interesting and is very easy to follow. Have a question? Meet him right after class and he will take the time, sit down with you and help you through it! He notices his students and is a very approachable person! I freakin' love Sam Walters! I'm not a huge fan of math to begin with, but he's so charismatic that I actually like that class. He's crazy intelligent, good at explaining and lighthearted. Sammy W. quote : "Doesn't matter what you put in this box! You can put your cat in this box!! ..... as long as you know what it means to square a cat..."
