Homework was extremely hard. Going to SI got me through it. Tests were hard. He gives a lot of partial credit. Girls get huge advantage and his lines for grades are not the standard 90,80,70... He's really smart and will help you with most anything if you stop by his office. Lab was extremely easy too. If he ever comes out of retirement, take him.

ya know, it's kind of strange, but after making it through two semesters with weaver, I take pride in knowing that I survived something really horrific. I still wouldn't want to do it again though.

This class was easier than the first, but harder in other ways. The homeworks assigned can easily be done if the solutions manual is at hand. Test question usually come out of the end of chapter problems. Don't bother to come to class, unless you want to hear his stories of how he flew airplanes in war. He is a nice man, but he doesn't teach squat.

Because of this class, I am now being medicated for stress induced health issues. The entire class would work together on the homework into the A.M. hours every single night. Lectures do not prepare you for problems on the homework or the tests. I recommend taking this class from Tyler Junior College over the summer instead of taking from UT Tyler.

He's very helpful if you come to his office and ask questions. You can also ask question in the lab. Class time is using mostly for war stories. Lots of hard homework. You won't have life. However, you will learn a lot from the course and be confidence about physic after taking the class. He's tough on grading and test, but you will pass the class

Get lots of smart friends in this class. The main thing you learn in this class is good teamwork. Even then it takes hours to complete each of 40 or so homework assignments. Tests hurt. Lectures consist of an attempt to work about one problem out while telling several stories throughout.

I really did learn alot from his classes. You think it is a bunch of wasted time doing the 30 hours a week of homework, but it really does teach you the concepts behind the world of physics. But don't be fooled, this is the hardest class at this university, except for maybe organic chem.

Has no ability to relate the concepts of physics below his level, and doesn't try. Class time is a waste of time, spends most of his time trying to impress the students with war stories. Massive amounts of homework at first to weed out the slackers. Take physics at TJC if at all possible.

A nice guy, but he may as well not lecture. Most of your time will be spent teaching yourself physics and listening to his stories. He's fairly forgetfull too. Once he ended a test a half hour early because he didn't know what day it was.
