Professors have a tendency to be self absorbed and arrogant. That being said, this professor has a comedic tendency to digress into stories of how she turned the world around at her previous school and how poorly they are doing without her. (Neither of which is supported by data) Course is full of information that you will not use in your class.

Comment:
Dr. Hirai makes it very clear what she wants from future and present teachers in her class. Her teaching methods make the class fun and interesting. Her diverse background and knowledge of the subject allows her to enlighten students with problem solving techniques. I highly recommend her for the Friday and Saturday classes.
