Comment:

She is a very intelligent and sweet professor. She demonstrates command of subject material and is very approachable and helpful. One of the best profs I've had. I would definitely take a course from her again.

She is an inspiring lecturer. She is incredibly well-read which is what one would expect from an English Professor. She knows literature like the back of her hand and it shows through the way she speaks. You can expect her to be tolerant, fair and understanding. You will leave her classes having expanded your reading horizon. Would recommend!

A nice lady.. but the class was pointless. She never answered a single email I sent all semester. I did nothing in the class and wrote a random essay wth miss spelled words and I still ended with a B... no idea how I got that grade. Super easy class if you can last through the none sense and ramblings during classes.

I had Mrs. Rayl for High School English; 10CP and 12AP. She really is not the most competent teacher. And beware, she takes forever to record things. We turned in an essay in May. She recorded it in June. She accidentally handed mine back without recording it. My A in the class turned into a B cause of her mistake. BEWARE!! It WILL happen again!!

Sandra Rayl's teaching ability is similar to that of a toddler but she also has the intelligence level of one. I can guarentee that every student she has ever taught is more capable than her of teaching this class. Her methods are inconsistant and irrelevant to the subject of english. i feel that any person taking this class leaves knowing less.

I really liked professor Rayl. I had her for a critical thinking class and she really lets student's think for themselves and explore and interpret literature they way they see it. She is an awesome teacher! Would totally recommend her

Mrs. Rayl was by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She was incompetent, unintelligent, and down right intolerable. She does not succumb to the principles of reason and rarely makes comments on literature that have relevance beyond repeating the text. 350 characters is not enough to describe my dislike for this woman

Mrs. Rayl is, by far, the most horrific English teacher I have ever had. I learned nothing the entire year because she would devote all class time to hearing her own voice. She also grades essays super subjectively (if at all). DROP.

She is a nice person overall but not the best teacher. First of all i'm pretty sure she does not read the essays and her grades them randomly or by barely skimming the essays. She cancels class a lot which is cool. She is impossible to get a hold of since she does not answer emails. I saw her grade a stack of about 30 5pg essays in a 20min.

She is a great teacher!!! She is nice, helpful and you learn a lot from her. I definitely would recommend her for an English class. I learned a lot from her. Although you can't really read her hand writing, she is still wonderful. You can feel comfortable to ask her things you don't understand or want to be repeated. Great Prof!

Attended 1988. HS dropout, got GED, took her COMP 101 expecing to fail. My very virst paper brought in a surprising A. now, 20yrs. later, Dozens of screenplays and I just finished my 3rd. book with a gigantic Advance, thank you for your encouragemnt. My paper, "IM TUSKLESS" An elephant story I dreamed up, not knowing a thing about elephants! CW

I completely agree with the comment below me. Just follow her instructions and if you are really worried, do her essays the class before it is due so that she can look over it with you. Although tempting, don't miss class...you won't receive the proper instructions. Easy A.

Very nice teacher. Done all the work in class. Knows that you have a life after class. I took her in the summer. Beware I started off in her class Engl MO1 took a test with in two days and went down to Engl MO9 which is part of her second class. She just want me to be in the right class or I would get lost. I would take her again.

She cuts class short, and all you really do is essays. I walked in the class not knowing how to write an essay well, and walked out with a B. This was a very easy class.
