PLEASE dont take her! She has panels every class and doesnt let you take notes. You learn intersting stuff about real people but absolutely NONE of it applies to the tests. You literally have to teach yourself the material. She is also completely unhelpful and doesn't get back to you. I would suggest any other class

Her only problem is that she tries too hard. She'll go on and on for the sake of a few who are unprepared and dense to begin with and winds up confusing everyone. If you can gag those people she'll be great. The tests are based on lecture and her text notes.

I imagine the class harder but it's not that bad. I agree that she is a little crazy, but her energy makes the class fun. She honestly cares and wants students to learn the material. Just go with a positve attitude, do the work, study, and talk to her if you need to. I did and I earned an A.

I took Drugs and Behavior w/her over a summer. I had to miss the first class due to an ER. When I showed up on the 2nd day and explained what happened she said-Well, don't come crying to me when you get a D in my class. There were other students around!! It was very unprofessional!! Don't take her classes :(

you guys are crazy. Went into class thinking she'd be horrible shes not. Definetly a spaz but thats what makes the class good, it's funny and keeps you awake cant miss or you'll miss out but thats the class its hard anyways. She works hard to make sure everyone understands. Hopefully I'll get a B+.

Warning do not take this class. Her tests are not stuctured. Her lectures are very confusing. Lecture material makes it more confusing. Had to withdraw from this class because of the stress,( my first W) if you don't want to have a W on your record! Do not take this class.

One of the best teachers here at SDSU,knows what she is teaching, makes sure all her studentsa understand the material, gives notes out, and has too much energy. Her test are hard, but you learn to take her test by the second midterm. You really need to read the book in this class for m/c.

The class is hard but I really didn't put much effort in and I got a B. she is hilarious even if it's not on purpose. Always willing to help too. She's the kind of professor who you could talk into giving you a better grade. Just go to her little review sessions.
