There were 4 units in this summer course. Each unit required 3 reading/online assignments, or 1 film assignment, which put me at about 10-20 pages of work total. Each unit also has a 3 part test (open book, not timed) and an extra credit map. You get about 3-4 weeks to complete each unit. If you do a little bit each day, it is very manageable.

Dr. Paquette's class is not hard at all, just time consuming. I learned a lot from him so far and plan to finish his class with a high A. All you have to do is complete the work he asks for, he has given plenty of time to get this done and I am taking his course during the summer. I look forward to History 122 in his class.

This class was difficult for me, as I find history boring. He has high expectations for his students, but as long as you pay attention, study, and do asssignments on time, he will work with you. You will have to study a lot for this class, and his take home tests are a lot harder than the ones you do in the classroom.

Very good teacher. I took the online class and although it was a LOT of work, it was laid out very well. I learned a lot from Dr. Paquette. Every once in a while, he has one-on-one time with students, and he's really there to help you out. If you're not trying to do a lot of work, then I would avoid his class. But if you want to genuinely learn, go
