I love Dr. Lee! I took this class my first quarter after transferring as it was also my first Anth class. I came in as a psych major and left her class as an anth major. She has much enthusiasm and loves this subject. She jokes a lot and she seems more like a human being than a lot of professors. Uses clickers, so go to class cause it's easy points

I absolutely adore Prof. Lee!! She is really excited about the subject, which gets people pretty excited too. She is extremely nice, sweet, and funny. Her class is really easy. Just attend lecture & pay attention and you will definitely pass. Textbook not required but I would recommend looking at the online textbook outlines.

Professor Lee was always super excited to teach which made me excited to learn. I loved the class because it was so interesting and she was so passionate about what she taught. the tests are mostly based off of her lecture slide so they're pretty easy.

I was really hesitant about taking this class. I was only looking for an easy A for my breadth requirements. However, I ended up enjoying this class a lot. Prof. Lee is adorable and funny. I got an A in the class and always studied last minute... but the exams are pretty hard, so study up. A lot of memorizing. No HW.

Professor lee is nice and sometimes funny in lecture, and her grading scale and expectations are very fair but a lot of people underestimated her exams. Even though the textbook is optional, i thought it was really helpful.

The textbook is optional, but it is very helpful for background information. Her lecture slides are from the same company as the book. The sides are vague at times, so the book really clarified the material. She and her TAs are very helpful. Lecture is mandatory because of the clicker questions and discussion is mandatory as well.

She appeared to be sort of clear for the first couple days of class, but she started to get very dry and a bit confusing from then on. I relied heavily on the textbook and self-taught the class. There's one paper that's assigned, 2 midterms (one had an essay), and a final. Not exactly my favorite.

Professor Lee was a great instructor. Very straight forward and told you what she expected. Her tests were all form the material that she covered in class. Pretty easy to study for, but make sure you go to her lectures. Great class, definitely would recommend!

First couple of days in her class were alright, but after that, a complete bore. You honestly don't need her as a teacher to get an A. Treats like class like 1st graders (intellegence-wize). I would have skipped all of her boring lectures but she has mandatory clicker questions. Easy A. She also gets mad if people cough, she sends them out.

She's very nice, and I think having taken biology or AP Biology really offsets the difficulty of the course. Those immersed heavily in the humanities generally will struggle more on the science aspect, and excel more in the cultural aspect of this class. Also, she forgets your name easily; it goes in one ear and out the other just like that.

This class is all memorization from the textbook. She can literally ask you anything from the textbook. I didn't waste money on the other books. I had a little above average midterm scores and almost perfect essay+final (i got 97%). I was 1 pt away from an A- but she wouldn't give to me. Shes friendly and sweet but test questions are random as hell

This class is really not a class you can just try halfheartedly. Dr. Lee does the best she can to teach, but sometimes I'm more confused. So reading the textbook is your best friend because test questions come directly from it. READING IS KEY. I learned this before exams. It's interesting, but you definitely have to devote time to this class.

She is very unclear as to what will be on the tests. She does not test on things that are emphasized in the lecture. She is very unorganized. I would highly suggest not taking this class. I am a fourth year bio major and it did not help me very much.

This class is not as easy as it would seem. You have to put in a lot of time into this class. There is a lot of memorization, but flashcards help. Go to the TA first because they are more helpful. Prof. Lee goes off on random tangents in lectures. Study for the quizzes and midterm. Final is cumulative. Attendance in disc is mandatory.

the ones that said it was an easy class probably cheated, since she lets you grade your own tests, those of us with integrity didn't do so well. hated this class and teach her average is 3,2 here. it's ridiculous. had her for pop genetics and if you had her for a lower division you shouldn't rate her b/c upper and lower is a different ball game.

Good lectures most of the time. You have to work for your grade. Can't get a good grade without effort. If you are lazy or looking for a kick back class, I suggest you don't take this professor.

This is not a very easy class if you dont already have a background with biology. Prof. Lee is actually a very good teacher, quite funny and i think she's really cute. She's not going to hand you an A, those people who bombed the midterm probably did not study. I got an A on the midterm and devoted only 2 hrs to studying.
