Comment:

This is by far one of the best professors I have ever taken. His class is very easy, just do your freaking term papers they are not hard. People have become so lazy! This course only requires three essays; he gives the class two weeks to do each paper.

Comment:

Professor Lowy is one of the sweetest professors that I have by far had. He was really understanding when it came to the grading portion of the class. He also was really open minded about everyone's opinions. Two papers and a presentation then I was done with the class! Definitely taking him again sometime in the future!

Mr. Bear is one funny guy who makes very funny jokes on serious subject matters. He assigns 3 books only use 1.His class is stupid easy. I enjoyed taking his class. He showed us an inspiring film called 'Salt of the Earth". He's very active when it comes to worker's rights. The man wants us to be down with the man.I am, Lowy was so chill and cool!

Easiest upper-division class at UCR. You only need one book, so don't buy the 3, and you could just photocopy one chapter for your panel presentation and use the same book/chapter for your final term paper. There's a mid-term paper based on videos shown in class. And he takes attendance, but even if you miss more than 4 classes, you'll still pass.

Easiest A! All you need to do in this class is a Panel, Midterm Paper(on the vids), Term Paper, and go to class to write your name when he passes around the sign-in sheet(& he'll tell you what days he's going to do it) You ONLY NEED ONE BOOK out of the books he says to get. With that one book you can do your Panel & Term Paper. He's real chill too!

The nicest, easiest professor EVER! EASY A SERIOUSLY! Even he says that his standards are low & if you just go and talk to him, he'll help you. He has one blind eye so when you go to talk to him, he might get kinda close BUT he always has a smile on when you talk to him(maybe b/c im a girl?) LOL

i have actually just started his class and i must say, this man is incredibly insulting, he makes very offensive comments about things that are better left unsaid. he trys too hard to be cute and its just not becoming of a professor to act like that. as for the class itself i don't really know yet, but people say he's easy

This class was an easy A but it was like torture sitting through his Mr. Bears speeches (FYI, when he asks, you LOVE Mr. Bear). I learned nothing in this class but it did allow me time to do other hmwk. Usually only 1/4 of the class would show up. I personally wouldn?t recommend taking his class but if you want an easy A he?s your man?or Bear.

His lectures are silly at times, and he makes everyone buy the book he wrote, it's not available in the library. It is hard to take the class seriously, but it's not a hard class, everyone knows about racism and stuff, or they should. So this class is a tad boring. His teaching style is funny at times.

An easy A... all you have to do is write three essays. Put in some sort of effort and agree with whatever the book says and you're good. Understand though that he is a useless prof. Lecture should be called "story time" because all he does is read his book (which shoudn't be considered a book... you'll see when you read it) and show movies.

Best professor ever! Super easy and teaches with a lot of passion. He's always there to help and his TA's are WONDERFUL! The essays that he gives you are practically done FOR you (he tells you EXACTLY what pages to look at). I DEFINITELY recommend this class to anyone that's willing to learn something while getting and easy A.
