Arrogant, rude and condescending. Sarah made what should have been an interesting class almost unbearable. She has knowledge of human resources, but has no interest in answering your questions, especially in her office hours. Don't even bother going to her office. Incredibly unpleasant person. It is insulting that VIU allows her to teach there.

Sarah is a tough prof for sure. If you skip classes and don't get the learning objectives then you won't do well on the written parts of exams. Her exams have long essay questions. Very heavy group project, but if you go see her she will provide good guidance. Have to work hard for a good grade in her classes.

Good teacher overall. Easy to understand and makes assignments clear. You must do the homework and read before the class, if you do that will probably do well with her. Offers a lot of help if you go see her in office time.

Definitely would have chosen another professor. The tests are easy if you memorize the learning objectives. After she gives out the learning objectives in class, you're better off leaving and reading the textbook. The two major assignments for the class are an awful application of the material learned. Wouldnt recommend!

Sarah Holding is the best professor for MGMT 192 and will OVER-PREPARE you for MGMT292 which is a good thing. If you do well in her MGMT192, you will have no problem ace-ing MGMT292. She teaches through her lectures which are no posted online, so you must attend class to be aware of whats going on. Overall, she is a nice lady and taught me alot.

Sarah was in my experience a terrible prof, she docks lots of marks for the smallest errors and her tests are a combination of obscure questions from the textbooks or as she calls them "common sense" questions that we should just know. She enjoys giving zeros on the written sections of exams and is a total freak about cheating. Avoid if you can

Sarah is a fantastic teacher! She is very clear and she has some good stories that make it easier to remember certain course material. She is a tough grader though, and her multiple choice questions on tests are hard to follow and sometimes have multiple correct answers, but I would take another class with her if i could.

Sarah is a great prof, she wants you to do well and is always there for you if you need help. She is a fair marker, you do have to put in a lot of effort though. If you are looking for an easy A this isn't the teacher for you!

A lot of people had an issue with Sarah because she can be short with people at times, usually just with those who don't pay attn in class. Her lessons were clear, but she will not give out her slides and goes through them too fast to get the required info from them.

Not bad as a teacher. Sometimes treats students like kids which makes you feel stupid for being there. As an adviser, she doesn't give enough time to really listen to students or help them with problems. Sarah gets a B as a teacher, and a C- as an adviser.

Would take a course from her again, always cracks jokes and makes her lectures interesting. Gives clear expectations on assignments and marks reasonable in reference to her provided marking outline that she provides. Treats everyone fair and equal and most of the time is available.
