I could that he was disinterested in the class too. He wasn't very helpful in teaching us Java or about Legos. Lots of "Ask the TAs" or "read the handouts" when questioned about the rules of the robot competition. Never used the textbooks. Grading pretty comes down to going to class and having good powerpoints.

ENGR 162 is a worthless class, and Barker knows that. He's a really nice guy, but you can tell that this is NOT his forte, and I hear that his electrical engineering classes are phenomenal. For ENGR, it's all busy work, and he even bores himself, but he's at least pretty lenient and willing to help IF he knows what's going on.

The material in this class is broad and extensive. We only meet in class twice a week for 50 minutes, but somehow I have more notes in this class than any other I've ever taken. I've also learned more in this class than any other I've had. Some of the things I ought to have learned in 203 and 204 I finally understood from Barker. He's a good man.

Professor Barker is another E-school favorite, although this class is very challenging (not for the "weak-minded," Ugh, I'll add). Go to the professor for conceptual problems and the TA for math/homework help.

One of the hardest classes in the ECE curriculum. I would do the homeworks and talk to the professor if you are struggling. He is genuinely nice (and hot might i add ;) he will help you.

The smartest prof. in the ECE department. You can clearly tell that the man's a genius. At first intimidating, but it wears off. He really wants you to understand the material in class, and has enough office time to explain more. Very nice person :oD
