A very, very good speaker and lecturer. He knows his material well, and you can tell that during the lectures, he is very passionate about the topic and subject at hand. Can be a very unaccommodating professor at times though, and unwilling to provide deadlines. Course material was also boring.

Professor Lamoureux was a very effective lecturer. He was very clear and concise, and often illustrated his points with his own research. In as many ways as possible, he often links the course concepts to the real-world. Lamoureux was also very passionate about the material, as he seemed very invested in the material. However, his tests were tough.

Dr. Lamoureux is by far the greatest prof I have ever had at Queen's. The Assignments are fairly difficult however if you go to the lectures the exams are fairly easy. I would recommend any class Scott teaches.

By far the Best Prof I have had at Queen's yet. His lectures are always interesting and easy to follow. The other great thing is he is really passionate about what he is Lecturing which makes it even more interesting to listen too. Anything that Scott teaches I would 100% recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Go to class, and there's almost no need to study for the exam. GPHY 304 was interesting, and relatively easy to pass. He definitely focusses on what you need to know and only tests you on that material.

Scott is a great prof! He knows the material inside and out and loves what he does. 306 was a hard course, but if you go to lecture you will be fine! His exams are really fair, just know the important graphs! This is a fantastic course, I have never learned so much!

HE DOES NOT GIVE OUT THE SAME EXAMS! Wow! Was it ever hard! I had no idea! He's been giving out the same exam for the past 5 or 6 years and boom! he changes it! :( Overall, it was an interesting course, though the graphs were a little too much!

Sorry Scott... you could have been an awesome lecturer, but you just threw up too many damn overheads. It's difficult to pay attention to that after 2 hours and what seems like 50+ overheads. Just keep it flowing. You're a nice guy though

He basically gives the exact same FINAL EXAM EVERY YEAR, but it you try to get help on answers from previous exams, he is very reluctant to give you the answers. Plus he will discourage you from attempting to answer questions from previous exams. The TA Brock cool guy, easy to get along with...

The class wasn't overly easy, but he did an amazing job! lots of research involved but the 3 hour lecture on monday night can get boring and dry at the end. all in all he was a great prof and i would take his classes again!
