Turnage is a real cool and chill guy. He is an excellent professor but a little bit old school. He writes in cursive on the chalk board. This man actual cares about his students learning and passing! Very helpful and down to earth. Come to class, show effort. He's a real gem.

I really enjoyed taking this course. If you read the course work and take the practice test at the end of each chapter it will prepare you for the test and discussion questions. Do the weekly discussion on time and you should pass this class.

Turnage expects students to think critically. His lectures are long and written in cursive on a chalkboard. Be sure to pay attention to details and take down everything he SAYS, too. Beware of his tests because they are very TRICKY. He does offer extra credit and the last half is a breeze. Lots of notesconfusing names. Hes on your side!

I have taken two courses with Mr. Turnage. As long as you do the reading and participate on the discussion boards you will do well. His tests are incredibly specific but you are allowed to use notestextbook so that really helps out.

Best Teacher ever. He loves what he does and if you treat him and the class with respect he will love you to. Taken both of his classes and loved both. Best teacher at MTC. He works with the class and always wants to hear questions.

Professor Turnage was wonderful! His class was so much fun and he really helps you learn in an interesting way. His tests were very hard, but there's always a curve to help out. I learned a lot from his class. He's a good person all around. Definitely take him if you have the chance!

His tests are really hard but he offers a huge curve so it's not bad. I made an A in the class. Take detailed notes & study. Don't freak out by the first grade you get, he'll add major points to bring it up. The class is really interesting and he's a good lecturer.

Mr. Scott is great! You will learn a lot in his class. I will say his material can prove challenging with it being an online class but you will learn. Be sure to read all require reading and you will past all test(which come from RR)

Took 106 & 108. He's pretty entertaining. His tests are hard, but as long as you take good notes you will do well. You don't need the college textbook at all, but the supplemental text is necessary. He's one of the coolest, laid back professors at Tech, and he really does care about his students.

Mr Turnage is cool - as long as you do what you're supposed to. Sometimes he gives grace, sometimes he won't. I should've paid more attention in his class - could have gotten an A if i wanted. Had i not missed one of his test, i would have had an A. oops :( But I loved how easy and laid out the course was - you knew what was required ahead of time

BEST professor I have EVER had. He makes you think about real things, and is so funny and kind and intersting. His stories are great, and his teaching style is wonderful. TAKE HIM, you will NOT regret it. Best teacher at Tech, guarenteed.

This is by far the best teacher I have ever had at tech. He truly cares and wants to make you a better student and person. His tests are challenging but force you to think. If you allow him to, Scott Turnage will make you a better student. I wish all my classes were this intellectually thrilling!
