Super passionate about geography. Loves to do the stairs during lectures. Don't text or he will burn your phone at the stake. Easily one of the hottest profs, definitely worth it to take his class.

Often bashed other classes and makes you wonder if he does the same about yours. He is big on you respecting him- do not use your cell phone during his lectures. There were no tests or assignments other than in lab which were relatively easy. If you skipmissdon't pay attention during lecture you will likely fail the midterm and exam.

I took his intro to human geography class even though I was an upper year student. I was told by some friends that he was bashing our class to theirs saying "we were the worst class he ever took and hope he never had us again." Well, he will never see me again. So unprofessional, very two-faced. Nice in class, rude outside. Hope this helps!

By using his worldly experience as a tool in the classroom, Sean is an excellent and illustrative teacher. His sense of humour is corny but awesome. He's down to earth and easy to talk to. It is very evident that he's passionate about the material. He's a great person and inspired me to continue studying Geography.

Great prof! His sense of humour keeps everyone's attention. He has a completely different viewpoint on things compared to Jamie Leclair, in fact, I would actually pay to see a debate between those two! Anyways, O'hagans tests are sometimes difficult, but generally straightforward. I highly suggest taking classes from him

At the start I was not fond of O'Hagan - but he definately grew on me. I think he had a rough start at Nipissing with our class but in the end turned out to be a great teacher who really inspired me with his real-world experiences and knowledge of things that I had no real concept of until leaving his class.

This is the first course I've taken with Sean so I was a little nervous at first. He is a great professor though. He made class pass by quickly by involving everyone in discussions and using humour in every lecture. Online class notes are great too. Allows me to pay closer attention in class. Great!

Sean is an excellent professor, he is younger, but very enthusiastic. He has a good knowledge of material and puts a lot of effort into each lecture's powerpoints. He has an updated website with class notes, which is an excellent resource and shows effort on his part. He has a good sense of humour.
