Honestly probably one of the best profs you could get. He seems to really be interested in what he teaches and is very engaging. Also rather then making you buy a bunch of textbooks, he provides you with all the readings online. 10/10 would recommend.

There is no exam for this class, but there are weekly papers that begin at 300 words and by the end of the year are full essays, due once every two weeks. Sergio is great with his feedback and is very forgiving when marking--if you try, he rewards you. He's a great prof, very enthusiastic and easily accessible.

Sismondo is awesome. I took this course as an elective and was worried that I wouldn't understand, but he made it so interesting and easy to understand. He is also very helpful and understanding.

The prof appears to be young charismatic, uber polite and "modern." In actuality, I think there is little of substance that can be gained in his course. The "Philosophy" he teaches is actually some kind of weak sociology. I would not take a class with him. Grading is also difficult.

Excellent teacher for an excellent course. He did a good job at controlling the discussion, and controlling himself through some pretty thick BS("primary colours" comment, anyone?). The only thing I didn't like was the oft cancelled class. I felt like we could have covered a lot more material with the three weeks or so that we missed.

The perfect professor. He's intelligent, attractive, helpful and, above all, knows how to teach! Sismondo is the kind of professor that makes you look forward to cass. He makes complicated material interesting and accessible. As an added bonus, he's also a great dresser.
