best professor I've had so far. She's very bubbly and happy all the time. This class was very easy and we barely did any work, but there were only 2 tests so you have to make sure you pass them. She really puts in the effort to get to know her students and she nearly always ended class early which is an obvious plus.

Possibly one of my favorite professors ever. She is always available to help and makes writing your paper so enjoyable. She is the sweetest woman on campus and wants all of her students to succeed. I HIGHLY recommend taking Professor Hokanson any chance you get!!

Professor Hokanson is one of the greatest professors at Monmouth. She's very funny and makes the class relevant. She also loves dogs, so if you love dogs you will love her! If you have the chance, TAKE HER CLASS!!

God bless this woman. Breaks the fourth wall of the academic bureacracy and realizes students don't want to be there. She will be your best friend if you let her. I loved her as a person but the class was so freaking boring. The class I took was my FYSEM called "Communication in Relationships" and at the beginning it was so easy. She isn't very clear about the material and when studying for the final you have to look up a lot of definitions on google. There was a lot of extra credit but i didnt like going

Prof. Hokanson is amazing!! I had her for my first year seminar "Communication in Relationships" and it wasn't difficult at all. You need to study for the midterm and final but other than that, just participate and enjoy how hilarious she is! She gives extra credit if you put your phone in the front of the class. Definitely take her and her class!

Professor Hokanson is not only a remarkable women but a inspiration. She puts her absolute heart into teaching and is genuine about everything she does. If you can handle her laugh and know how to keep up a conversation in front of the room you will get that A! Treats her students like gold--she always used to bring munchkins to class!

She is a very nice and young professor who understands that her Intro to Comm class isn't on the top priority of classes. Her lectures result in an interesting discussion. Her tests aren't super easy, but her projects usually are. She tends to show up late sometimes and cancel class, but is always helpful in and out of the classroom.
