I found her absolutely hilarious. Loved going to her classes.I actually put my hand up and participated in class which I never do. She is a really slow marker and doesn't answer e-mails in a timely manner. She had questions on tests and I had no idea where they came from.

Best prof ever. She's very understanding and she's super funny. If your can't write an exam on her timetable, you just pick another day. I wrote my midterm the day before my final with no consequences what-so-ever. I just read the book, missed an assignment, never went to class and i got an A. Take anything she teaches!

Great ~~New Age~~ prof! Easy to talk to, very understanding, if you cannot make an exam she offers rewrites. She will proof read you paper. She mixes up class with videos, powerpoints, and honest open discussions, and and places everything on a facebook page which is great too. Oh and she gives good hints on things to study for exams xoxo :)

class is fun, good stories, very nice and funny. then an exam comes along and you realize you're actually taking a university course. Information is harder than she leads you to believe in class. You need to read the textbook. Overall great prof. Not an easy A, but an A if you study hard.

I agree its like The Tyra Banks Show at SMU but with SHANNON! She is AMUSING, funny and the stuff she says can paralyze innocent ears ( sometimes). Her exams are fair, read the recommended readings twice and you are PERFECT! I attended 6 classes only... end result? A+ -> love shannon! O and she gives u BIG HINTS for exams!

I LOVE Shannon Nickerson. I found her to be so wonderful and liberal. great class discussions, very informative, she was truly passionate & interesting. I could have punched everyone in my class who showed her NO respect just because she is informal. grow up ppl it's university, take it seriously. she loves you if you pay attention & participate!!

Perfect elective. Good prof and very nice person; adds personal experiences which is quite different. Exams are based on the textbook and powerpoints, so focus your attention on them. Science students will question some of her material, though.

Amazing for Evo Psyc but quite dissapointing for HSB. You got the feeling that the course was just for fun the way that it was approached, but then the exams were quite hard with focus on small detail. The whole thing seemed like an excuse to talk about sex, and then she remembered it was university and there needed to be difficult assessment

If you want a class that is pretty easy and that you won't learn all that much in. Here's the one. She is somewhat entertaining, but gives you a feeling she doesn't know much beyond the textbook. You get to hear a lot of her being naive and simple in the relationship front. She has many opinion questions on multiple choice tests. Not recommended.

AMAZING PROF! Shannon is THE best prof I have ever had. If you do badly in her class I don't know what you are doing wrong. She's teaching science here people, of course she's not going to have religious views, or accept them on anything. I can't say enough how amazing she is!! Very worth my time.
