Comment:

Shannon is a warm, friendly, and helpful professor who goes above and beyond for his students. He advocates for them when need be, and is totally accommodating, especially when they need it. His seminars were always fun and relaxing, and he always enjoys a good laugh in class, either a joke or story he tells, or any a student has to offer. Tops.

Dr Ryan is such a great prof. He knows so much about NL history and he is truly an expert in his field. He made this 4000 level course really enjoyable and I wish I could have taken more of his classes. He is finishing up as a prof. at MUN and I believe that the university is losing a great prof. So sad to see him go.

the absolute cutest old ma alive. He tells funny but irrelevent stories, jokes around with the class, and shows concern for his students outside the classroom. too bad hes retiring :(

He is so sweet!! What an excellent prof. Knows his stuff inside and out and then some more. He will do whatever he can to help you out. He is also pretty funny. Too bad he is retiring. The history department is losing a great asset.

Possibly the sweetest man alive, he really loves History and you can tell that about him immediately, he is always there to help, and is always trying to make sure that everyone is on track. I love this man I wish I could have him for all my History courses, but alas he is retiring. Good Luck Mr.Ryan with whatever you do!!!!
