Comment:
She is tremendously kind-- you won't believe the nice feedback she'll carefully write on all of your papers. She isn't very interesting while lecturing, but that's my only complaint. She was very helpful and picked really engaging documentaries for us to watch in class. I would definitely recommend this class.

One of the most painful classes I've ever sat through. So easy it requires no thought process, professor is the dullest lecturer I've ever had and treats students like an elementary class. She's nice though, and an easy A if you can survive without dying of boredom.

A ditz, but knew her material well, very nice and friendly, format things the way she wants and participate in discussion and you'll be good

Lots of reading, with comment papers, but this was in place of a midterm so it was worth it. She really works at getting students to understand the issues involved. A major term paper but again, in place of a final.

Comment:
Dry, much more boring than a sociology of religion class should be. (Sadly, OSU is not much for religious soc.) She taught the theory pretty well, though, and she questioned/clarified student presenters who didn't make a lot of sense... The grading was fair and straightforward, which is a plus.
