Comment:

There was rocky start to the class while I was figuring out her grading system. However, overall Shaun is very passionate which makes the lectures inspirational. You have to work for your grade, but even so she's very helpful, honest, and tries to help each student do their best. This is a new class and she's still trying things out.

Didn't teach ANYTHING, just does super quick demo's of Photoshop & InDesign, then marks points off on the one and only real assignment you have all semester for things you didn't know and she didn't teach you. I will NEVER take her again. I'm an A student and worked my butt off & will be happy if I get a C in her course.

Shaun is a great professor, but at times I find it difficult to connect with her as far as what her expectations are for my work... It seems that one minute, she is asking for specific details and then after the project is finished she critiques it based on entirely different principals. However, she is very helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoy her!

Shaun is excellent. She'll happily come help you whenever you need it, and figure out any problem with you until it's resolved. This class seemed intimidating at first but I'm so glad I took it.

Shaun is a very knowledgable professor, and I like how she can be challenging and honest. At times, though, Iâ??m at a loss for just what she really expects out of her students, and I think she forgets that weâ??re LEARNING to be professionals. She sometimes expects more than some of us can REALISTICALLY deliver, and can be at times assuming.

Shaun is a good professor. She is challenging but gives you the grade that you earn. Her classes tend to be PACKED, so she has little time to help everyone, which is unfortunate. She can be haphazard at times, and she tends to contradict herself in terms of expectations and whatnot, so be attentive.

Super hard and a really hard grader. Be prepared in class and ready to work hard. You have to really earn the grade you receive. Annoyingly picky about small details. Very helpful and willing to help if you're stuck though.

Definitely a useless and mean teacher, always suspicious and arguing. The entire program seemed a big rip-off. Even a Multimedia For Dummies book gives you much more. Oakland University also has better, excellent art teachers.

Whoever rated Shaun earlier in this class must be a dumba**. You couldn't even get the class right and it doesn't surprise me that you didn't like the class. She spends more time w/ students than any other prof in this program that I've had. She's always been in her office to help me and she's given me more opportunities than I prolly deserved.

Other that than if you take her be prepared to teach yourself through online tutorial and books and NEVER expect a compliment.She just does not know the programs very well or how to get the best from students.
