I'm sad Shawn is getting a bad rap here, he is one of the BEST profs a student can ask for and he's really passionate about phil. His classes are deep and a lot of people just didnt come to class or care to pay attention and thats their problem, they were missing out BIG TIME! You have to TRY in his class, but its worth it. Come back to SMU, Shawn!

Took this class my 1st year with NO knowledge of Philosophy. Shawn teaches a very clear class and breaks things down as best as possible. He's willing to help you out no matter when. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a prof thats involved and interested in what hes teaching. Just dont get him started on Religion!;) ur awesome shawn!
