Dr. Park is a really good professor. She makes you think outside of the box, and is very respectful of everyone's opinions. This class was a lot of reading, but very interesting and worth it. I would take this class again, Dr. Park was knowledgable and helpful throughout the semester.

Professor Park really cares about her students and gives good feedback in most of the assignments done. She enjoys deep discussions and will join in at times. The material wasn't tough and there wasn't much of it per week. There are a few survey quizzes at the end of each module which help your grade with the easy A.

Relatively easy and simple class. Class only composed of bi weekly quizzes and discussion posts. Only spent 15 minutes to an hour a week on this class. She is kind of a tough grader when it comes to discussion posts and essay question on the final so make sure you are detailed.

Really wasn't a bad class. I thought it was a lot harder than what it needed to be though. Just make sure you really take good notes on the modules she gives you and you'll do fine in the class.

Loved this class! I took It online and it was such a breeze. Didn't use a textbook (save money!) and professor was great. She gives good feedback on discussions and reminds you the same day something is due. Just took a quiz once a week and wrote a discussion post & respond to two students, super easy and not a lot of work. Take it!

Took online, easy A. Nitpicks your weekly discussions but generally you can still get the A. Even if you think the material is hogwash, you must write articulate hogwash in order to get a good grade on the discussions. Doesn't teach in the online portion, it's left to the reading and videos but all in all, easy A.

Dr. Park makes this class very enjoyable. She has a quiz every Friday on the material for that week, then a discussion post on Sunday, asks you to respond to two of your classmates by the next friday then you take a survey on the following Sunday. So two weeks for each chapter with clearly defined deadlines.

To think I was worried about this class... ha! Park makes the class so easy. If you put in 30 minutes per week, it's an easy A. Grades are made up of biweekly discussion posts/responses and quizzes on short reading materials/videos. There is only one exam in the class which is the final. She is not a tough grader at all. I have a 98% in this class.

This was an excellent. I really enjoyed the material and I gained a few new perspectives on the issues. Lots of class discussion and interaction, though it isn't mandatory to participate.

Yes, she is a tough grader. The discussion posts are your key to the class. Get on her good side and provide detailed posts. The exams aren't quite like the discussion material, but google is your friend. It's really not a hard class, you just have to try. Get on Dr. Park's good side and you'll coast right through!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. All she does is has discussion posts that are once a week. Not bad. But the midterm and final are NOTHING what the posts about and are things that we didn't even talk about. Such a JOKE that she is even labeled a professor. Doesn't do anything as far as teaching.

Decent class with minimal assignments if you don't consider the long readings. Weekly discussions that she's SUPER nit picky about. Due on Friday but she'll take off points if you post on Friday bc you should be posting sooner. If you do everything exactly as she says you can get an A.

Professor Park is a tough grader. She really believes that an A requires A effort. That being said, her lectures are interesting and interactive, and I gained a ton of respect for her. She really works to help you understand concepts in the class, and will always answer your questions as clearly as possible.

I have to say...Dr. Park is one tough cookie! A part of me really doesnt like her, but I learned a lot from my peers in her class. I think her grading is highly unfair and ridiculous. I am not satisfied with her grading nor her feedback nor her lack of clarity throughout the course. She isn't clear about expectations. I wouldnt recommend her course

Dr. Park's classes are no walk in the park; pun intended! Dr. P isn't always clear about what she is grading you on, which is rather annoying. I do appreciate, however, how much she interacts with the class & gives you feedback. I don't know if I would take another class with Dr. Park because her grading scale is just so random!

Took online. Not the easiest, however, it's not that hard. You DO need to buy both textsbook for the class because all the discussions will be based off of them. If you are not good at making philosophical arguments, then I don't reccommend the class. There is 1 major paper (5 pages) and 2 tests.
