do not take this class with sherry. run as far away as possible. do not torture yourself like this. she has no respect for students. spent the class looking at the ceiling of ground but never at the students. wants you to write to her likes and can be very confusing as to what she wants

DON'T DO IT. Drop her class if you can, take it another time with another prof. not worth your time or mental health. didn't learn anything, just how to cater to her likes and dislikes in my writing. belittles students and won't make eye contact so she is hard to talk to. absolutely no respect for students and very unreasonable.

Do not take Sherry Klein if you can avoid it. She was very rude to our class-she wanted us to participate, but when you did she would shoot down your answer and make you feel stupid. Vague on what she wants for assignments. Rude when you ask general questions about assignments.

She hates technology, so don't buy any of the material digitally or expect to take notes on your laptop. She is very specific in what she wants and you will likely never be able to reach her expectations. Expect to fail or barely pass assignments. A 75 is the new 100. She is very rude and condescending to students.

Dr. Klein refuses to use any technology within her classroom and course which makes it very difficult to pull up old assignments and review for exams. She also refuses to make eye contact or look up to her class at any point. She shows little respect to her students by talking with her head down & makes you feel absolutely stupid when participating

This class was a very difficult English course for me. The professor is a very hard grader, and certainly does not give out easy A's. She does really know her stuff though, just doesn't make it easy for the students

So I came on here last semester and saw that she wasn't recommended, but I didn't care because the time worked. I should have not taken this prof. She is very against technology, no computer for taking notes or anything and grades very hard. Also, no extra credit, for if you don't do well in the class.

This class is one of the worst classes I have ever taken in my life, and I don't say that lightly. Sherry is definitely not an easy grader and does not state what she wants clearly. She belittles students when they ask questions, and refuses to engage in conversation with students! Stay away from this class, as you are lucky to get a passing grade

she has no respect for anyone I regret choosing this course doesn't engage her class or seem to care if you understand material tough to get a pass obviously should seek another profession 90s in my other classes i've never had a mark this horrible till I encountered dr klein PAINT HER GREEN boys SHES A DEFINITE GRINCH!!

Had no respect for the students and often showed up for class late. Really tough marker, if you leave your essay to the night before you won't pass. Made a big deal about stuff that could have been ignored. Makes you feel stupid when you ask a question or for clarification. Did give good tools on analyzing poetry and went into depth on the texts.

Unnecessarily tough grader, refuses to use UR Courses- so good luck checking your grade, and if you don't check the syllabus every day you will miss something- because she does not tell you in class. If you take her class- you will either fail or barely pass.

She has a very clear grading criteria that you should follow exactly when writing assignments. The books we read were interesting and easy to understand. Lectures were incredibly boring but the Final was reasonable

Good luck making eye contact. She does not use PowerPoint and she still manages to never have eye contact with students Her papers are absolutely absurd. You know you're likely going to fail your paper when day one tells the class "half this class going to fail." She even managed to test the class on day three on the course outlines. Stay away!!

Do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to avoid this prof. She is incredibly rude and makes students feel stupid for asking questions. Getting high marks in this class is impossible, even if you are a skilled writer. She smiled twice the entire semester. I would rather floss with barbed wire than take another class from Dr Klein.
