No. Just no. I wish I would have checked her out on this website before I enrolled. I had to drop it with a W grade before I failed. She expects you to know everything, did not teach a thing, and turned down so many papers. So many people withdrew at the last minute so we wouldn't fail.

I would avoid taking this teacher. She taught nothing in class,so it feels like I forgot everything from my last english class and now feel I am not as smart as when I came in. When she did make us work we had to write several page long essays, which she did not tell us anything about except for length, so it was very easy to fail. Do not take her.

She starts off the semester really hard, but eases up as the semester goes along. If you are looking for an A don't take her. She doesn't believe in A's it seems like. She is sick a lot so she misses class

The bad part about being a freshy is you dont get first pick on classes....I managed a B in her class and its my best subject, I went to class everyday and did all my work she is no bueno people, just dont take her unless you have too....Papers I spent zero time on I did good on and papers I worked on for hours I made D's.....I do NOT recommend her

do not take her! you will not know your grade till the end of the class, so it is to late to change it. she does not grade till she has to and it is hard to improve your writing when you dont know what you are doing wrong. she is horrible!!

There was only 6 people in my class and I HATED it. I was forced in the class because they booted me out my original class for another student. She was late almost everyday and not clear at all. She is always talking about her Japanese class instead of English.

She is late to class alot! Her syllabus is what she lives and breathes by! You do alot of peer editing. She doesn't give you back your essay in a timely manner which doesn't help you improve your writing skills at all. I would not recommend her to anyone! I don't feel prepared for English Comp. and Research next semester.

She gives out bad grades like they're candy. Seriously, don't expect to get your papers back in a timely matter or to even really understand what she wants from you. She seems like a really nice, laid back person but I would definitely not recommend her as a prof.

Just read the syllabus (frequently!), show up and do your work like a college student should and you'll be fine in this class. She's a little more difficult than the average UCO teacher, but get over it. College isn't supposed to be easy. So take this class, do your work and you'll be one of the few who get an "A" or "B". If you can't hack it in this class then go back to high school!!

Very nice person, horrible teacher, DO NOT TAKE,i took her my freshman year HATED IT, worst teacher, doesn't answer ?'s. NOT HELPFUL, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE, AND ESPECIALLY AS A FRESHMAN IT MADE ME HATE ENGLISH AND UCO FOR LETTING HER TEACH! CAN'T WAIT TILL SEMESTER IS OVER. I LEARNED BOUT THIS SITE CUZ OF HER! No good. She's very strict on attendance and on work. Syllabus is her bible and she'll use it against you. Because I didn't have my ruft draft for peer editing, I wasn't allowed to turn the paper in at all! Essay after essay, lots of busy work. Highly recommend someone else!

This is the worst professor that I have had. If you like zeros a lot, then sign up. If you actually want to pass English class, don't take Mrs. Vowel. There must be something wrong with the teacher when you go from getting your essays published, to struggling to get a helpful comment on an essay. Never reads essays. Need I say more??? SHE SUCKS
