I'm going to miss Shirley when she moves to Egypt. I took her Arch class during the spring session, and I absolutely loved it. She tells you what she expects for the midterm/final, and the best thing about her?! She never had any papers! So refreshing!

Alas, it is too bad she is leaving at the end of the Summer Session. I really enjoyed her class. Very interesting. She was clear in her lectures. You had to study hard for the exams, but that's university for you. Exams were a good format and difficulty level. Clear voice so you could be heard, and a very nice person.

She was really nice and she knew her stuff. No paper, only two midterms and a final. Her tests were mostly multiple choice and super easy. If you went to class, you had a good idea of everything on the test. Good class!

Definitely has a firm grasp on what she's teaching, and she seems to love doing it. Great prof! My only complaint was the final, 75 multiple choice, 2 5-mark short answer questions, and a 15 mark essay. I spent way more time on the essay and think it should be worth more. Good prof!

She made the class more interesting than I thought it would be. Supplemented it with her own experiences in the field, which was great. Food for thoughts were so easy . . . you just had to think like an anthropologist and she'd love it. Easy class.
