Had her for my work report and was marked very harshly. Nothing came up in the proposal but the final report was somehow riddled with errors. Also quite rude to meet with.

Shirley is definitely not as bad as her reviews show. Although her classes are very boring where it is 2.5 hours on a Friday afternoon, I think she is a fine prof. She is accessible outside class, and her tests were fair. Would take again, just not for a 2.5 hour class on a Friday afternoon.

Shirley is an ok prof for busi1000. She basically just reads off the slides, but every prof at mun does it. 2 midterms, 1 group paper and a final is that we were graded on. Classes pretty boring, 2.5 hour lecture and she goes on and on and on... Wouldn't really recommend her if you're looking for a prof to engage with students.

Shirley is a decent instructor, she just reads off the slides and sometimes throws in some more information. Classes are pretty boring, even when you're occupied taking notes. 2 midterms a final and a group paper is the grading criteria. Midterms are pretty easy, just read a decent bit and you'll get an easy A. She's sometimes a bit saucy though.

I thought Shirley was a great prof. She may seem a bit strict at first, but she is so approachable and really wants her students to do well. I received a low mark on a part of my assignment and she let me redo it - my grade went up significantly. So, if you have any questions, she is definitely there to help you. Would definitely recommend her.

Mrs. Noseworthy was a very friendly woman who was quite approachable if I ever had any questions. Although Business 1000 was a pretty dry course, she made it about as interesting as it could've been. I would recommend her to others.

Somewhat disorganized but very nice woman. She treats students well but she is somewhat hard to contact. Takes awhile to get assignments back. However, her feedback is very constructive and if you do get a meeting with her it helps a lot. She has trouble explaining what she expects on students on assignments.

Shirley N is a great prof. I don't know what everyone's problem is. I thought she did a great job teaching intro to marketing. I think class participation has a major bearing on how you'll find her as a prof. More participation/her knowing who you are = her liking you more = easier time in the class.

Worst Professor ever, she gets paid for doing nothing, comes to class lamenting. Does not give good feedbacks and she never reply emails. Her lectures are really never well organised and it is difficult to understand what she is talking about.
