Honestly the worst teacher I've had. You can't really understand what she is saying sometimes and her tests don't reflect what we have been learning or what is on the practice tests she gives. There are clicker questions but she can barely figure out how to work them or her powerpoints. You do get a page of notes and she will curve some on tests

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT take this professor if you have other options! She is one of the worst professors I've taken. Not to be mean but it's the truth, not only did I study super hard for each test, I read the book and went over the studyguide she gives out and I still got bad grades on the exams. Theres a disconnect there. This is my first C+

She is a confusing teacher and does not know how to use technology at all. You will not get much out of attending lecture but you need to go to earn your clicker points (counts for 100 out of 500 points for the whole class). Study on your own through the online textbook and learnsmarts and you'll probably do fine.

Shoshana is the cutest, she does not know how to use technology at all. There were 4 exams, I pulled an all-nighter before each exam to study the online book and passed each exam w/ an A or B. Do the learn-smarts for every single chapter or you will not feel prepared. Do the online hw before lecture so that you will get clicker questions right.

Her accent is hard to decipher and she struggles maintaining control of such a large classroom. You must attend class because clicker points are a significant part of your grade. She allows a paper of notes to be used on the exams which helps a lot. I had a hybrid class and the virtual lectures were much easier to follow than the in-class lectures.

I loved her! Gives lots of opportunities to succeed in her class. Takes attendance with the clicker and homework is pretty easy. She allows a paper of notes to be used on the exams which helps a lot. She also curves the class at the end of the semester.

Basically, do all the homework, get all the clicker points; decently study for the test and you'll be fine. She curves so much.

Sort-of hard to understand because she has an accent. She is very confused all the time and it makes the class so much worse. Tests are way beyond what she actually lectures about, which makes them hard. She does curve a lot so that helps. I don't recommend taking her if you can avoid it.

Don't take her! She confuses herself and everyone else you have to teach yourself and put in extra time in for a freshmen class, horrible professor. And unfortunately you need to buy the book to do the homework online. She claims you can get it for a cheaper price on amazon but it isn't true. Don't wage your time.

test are hard but above all she is just a terrible teacher, doesn't explain concepts or give enough places to practice for her tests. She however does curve her grades so getting a 65 C-

Took the online hybrid, just let the lectures play in background for points. Clicker points for class only once a week. Online assignments, just check answer as you go and get 100%. Many people complain about hard material, but if you just read the book you'll be fine. You can bring a cheat sheet for tests. Not hard if you study. WHATEVER MAN

She has an accent and is very difficult to understand.Basically you have to read this poorly written textbook and then do "learnsmart"moduals before she teaches you anything. She only goes over the questions that most people got wrong from learnsmart! No teaching what-so-ever.Texts were not on what we"learned"Had to get a tutor 2x a week to get a B!

She's a nice lady but when shes lecturing she confuses the class and herself. Backtracks alot to make sure what she is talking about is correct and often goes off on tangents. Honestly you dont have to go to class for anything other then participation and clicker points. Reading the book is a must because she isnt very good at teaching.

Grossbard is genuinely a very nice person, but I dislike her way of teaching. I averaged a C on her tests (curved & dropping the lowest of 4) & pulled an overall B grade. To do well, COMPREHEND the chapters, not just read, & attend class everyday. Use her office hours, she's helpful. If you don't read & comprehend the chapters, you'll not do well.

Read the book, then attend class and do work for another teacher. If you pay attention you'll get confused and frustrated. She goes off on tangents and is the most pontificating professor I have ever had. But you have to attend to get participation points.

worst professor ive ever had. she doesnt know how to teach at all. she just rambles and confuses you even more. the first 3 exams all had average scores below 60% and she blamed the class not her. she curves a little but not enough to save your grade. avoid her if possible. youll regret taking it
