Skip was an amazing professor. He makes learning about law fun and applicable to college students' lives. He takes real world examples and uses them in his lectures. He really cares about students. Read through your notes very carefully and ask questions. He wants you to know very specific details. DO NOT SKIP CLASS.

Skip is amazing! You DO NOT need the text book, only his notes that he gives in class. 2 tests & you typically finish the class 2-3 weeks early! He gives so many examples that make it easy to grasp the concepts. His lectures are awesome too, even at 8am! He gives so many extra credit opportunities & after this class, you'll see everything as a tort

Comment:

One of the best teachers I have ever had at CofC. Would love to take him for all business classes. Enjoyed going to class and lectures were interesting. Highly recommend skip. Awesome class!

Comment:

Skip is a good guy who actually cares about his students. He has 1 test & final, but has extra credit to help you get your grade up! Every on the tests come straight from his notes, so dont miss a day or have a friend in the class! He is really nice & is willing to help his students! I would take him again, because it made the course fun! TAKE HIM!

The only teacher that has actually prepared me for the real world. He talks about building credit, how to avoid lawsuits, how not to get sued, and multiple hidden business laws everyone should know if they are pursuing business. Skip is awesome, this class is awesome, and I would take him for every class if possible.

A midterm and a final are your ONLY grades in the class. Go to every single class and good notes, and study a week before each of the tests and your golden. I LOVED this class and Skip. I took it at 8 a.m. and looked forward to going to class each day because of Skip's stories. TAKE SKIP!!!!! Minimum outside work and no hw/quizzes at all.

Skip is an incredible teacher because he of his relevant, first hand experience working in law. His stories help students understand the material and its real world applications. I highly recommend taking Skip for Business Law. Heads up: there are only two grades- a midterm and a final.

2 Tests, 50% each of your grade. Very hard test, but his class lectures are very easy. He give real life examples from his lawyer background, but his tests and worded very differently and caused many people to do below average. He does offer several extra credit projects. OTher than that, really funny guy, and really nice! I recommend him!

Absolutely LOVED Skip! I had him for an 8 am and thoroughly enjoyed going to class each day. He shows a genuine interest in his students and pride for the school. He uses tons of examples to back up the text that he has experienced first hand in his law career. They are always interesting, funny, and attention grabbing.I Definitely recommend him!

Skip is awesome! He makes class interesting, and instead of using examples from the book, he uses examples from his own career in the field, helping you understand it better. The grading is 2 tests for 50% each, but if you go to class and get the notes, he will do a review the day before, and just study your notes. Take him!

Skip is awesome. Makes class fun and funny. His business law class should be required for everyone in society. It's very useful information for everyday life in our modern society. The class is very interesting and since he is actively a lawyer...he really knows his stuff. He's a really funny guy and I enjoyed his class. However, you only get 2 grades - a midterm and a final. His exams are VERY tricky...so beware. I would recommend him though.

This was one of my favorite classes that I have ever taken! He is a great teacher and makes the class a lot of fun. You only have two exams and he offers some extra credit. I would recommend this class to everyone!

I love his class. He knows what he is talking about. He is a lawyer so he is able to give great examples that help you to remember what you're talking about. He does only give a mid-term and a final but before the test he basically tells you what's on it. You should take his class!
