Kazarian is a great teacher. I am a senior taking this intro course because I transferred, and I still feel like he is helping me improve my writing. He encourages drafts because he genuinely wants to produce better writers. His book is full of excellent, mind-opening essays. This class is also CAKE if you want it to be.

Honestly, he's pretty easy. There's a couple papers to write, but you get to send drafts in so your paper could be improved on. There's a group research project (nothing too big). The midterm is take home. No final. All seems fairly simple. The only things I don't like about the class are perhaps that it's not that interesting and it's repetitive.

Super easy. I really enjoyed this class. Just 1 term paper, 3 papers and 1 midterm (take-home) the entire semester. Also 1 group project (easy). He explains EVERYTHING thoroughly during class and replies to emails very prompty. Also allows multiple drafts so you can earn the highest grade possible. Excellent professor!

KAZARIAN A VERY HELPFUL TEACHER WHO CARES A LOT ABOUT HIS STUDENTS. HE'S ONE OF THOSE PROFESSORS THAT DO HELP YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT. HE'S JUST AWESOME. LEARNED A LOT FROM HIM AND HE IS A TRUELY GENUINE TEACHER. TAKE HIS CLASS, IF YOU DON'T YOU'LL REGRET IT.

Very interesting and intelligent teacher. No tests or homework at all. Only a few papers the entire semester and they are relatively easy. He is very relaxed when it comes to grading and as long as you put effort into the project, grasp the concept, and turn it in on time, you will earn a high grade. Watch out for the final however,

I Really enjoyed Kazarian. He?s full of jokes and light on work. no exams or quiz, just 2 papers, one group project, and a term paper. very helpful and gives simple explanations. I also like that he returns results for assignment the day after they are submitted, and you can turn in assigments a few times before the due date to get the best grade.

awesome professor.very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. had a few quizzes in class, if u miss it, he'll let u take it. had 3 essays in the end. the guidelines arent crystal clear but u can ask for help.bought the book and didnt even use it >< i miss his class. hilarious guy

He's an awesome teacher. He's funny so class is never too tiring (always jokes around that people who laugh most will get an A). Very easy on grading too; usually if you just do the work then you earn an A. Lots of writing HW but that can be expected in any writing class, so you might as well learn it from him.

very cool teacher. easy essays. the only thing that sucks is that he makes you go out and buy a book he wrote that only one store offers it. $40 that you cant sell back..his online essay submissions can sometimes cause problems and affects your grade b/c of it..

Great teacher. Good Summer class. Values a more real-life understanding of literature. 4 short pop quizes, 3 short papers,and a powerpoint presentation. Give lots of room for creativity in project. Not heavy vocab,just speed read and highlight through stories. stories are fun to read, not boring. He shows videos to further understand plays.

Great teacher!!! Has a wonderful sense of humor. Great way of getting an 'A' is to keep sending him drafts of your essays. He'll tell you to revise it until that paper is an 'A' paper. You won't be disappointed in him!

Kazarian is the man. You can submit a million drafts and he will keep telling you what you should improve to get the A.. For his writing 1200 class, there was 2 grades. You either got an A, or you failed. And to fail, you have to try. Funny man as well. Take him!

Don't listen to these other comments, Kazarian is the bomb. take this class before it fills up, this guy will make you laugh so hard he is hillarious. He told us on the first friday of the class we had to use protection and pulled sun block out of his briefcase but seriously take him.

Class is mostly alot of talking not much learning. On one of my first draft he comment really good paper and no comments within the paper. Then my finally draft he gave me a D. No help at all. Toatally favoritizes some students. So get on his good side. He also told my current grade to my friend in another class without my knowledge.
