It was quite a while ago but respected her amazing intellect. She does have opinions on things and feels comfortable articulating them. I felt she was open to other opinions but she expects you to be able to explain your position. If you can handle the challenge then this is the teacher for you.

It was over a decade ago, and this woman taught me so much. She was real. She knew who I was as a student and I felt that I had a friend and a teacher. One of the best educational experiences of my life.

She opened me up to soem new insights, it was refreshing to approach English in a different way. She is extremely intelligent. She is very well versed in what she teaches, she has written, published and edited within her fields. Critical but insightfull.
