Simply put: intellectual students will enjoy his classes, slackers will not. I was impressed with his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge and understanding of different faiths. Nothing is taboo in his class. Great teacher.

Definitely worth having. Offers fresh perspectives on religion, keeps discussion value-neutral. Wish we went into psudo-religions, but ah well. Sense of humor definitely off-kilter, which is hip, if you like it. Highly recommended.
