Take Bregmann but attend her lectures. Bregmann provides more resources, curves more, and has a simple formula sheet. Staci makes her lectures fun and easy but her test arent. Make sure to study the wording( thats where she gets you in the tests). Do all daily problems and for homework go to stats lab. PUT IN THE WORK. Beware of the last test!!!

TAKE BREGMAN! But, attend Smith's lectures. Bregman's review games are far more helpful for the actual exams. However, Smith is a very strong lecturer. Bregman is cut and dry and his syllabus details everything to be expected from day 1. Smith's syllabus is bare because she likes to change things up and throw curveballs mid semester.

Take her over the other teacher because he literally just shows the slides and does not explain them. If you have questions about the work go ask her in her office she will help. There are dailies after every class that will be added to your exam grade THEY ARE A MUST. I never used the book or problems like she said but i did study the reviews doit

Despite being a challenging course, she really is passionate about teaching it and you can tell by her lectures how much she really does want to make sure you understand. Key to passing? Don't miss class EVER, do your dailies which are extra points added to your exam and make sure you understand the homeworks because the exams are similiar to it.

Is this a hard class? YES. Is this a doable class? YES. Can you pass this class? YES. I gave a lot of effort in this class and got a B its possible to get an A, if you study even harder. Do yourself a favor.. TAKE BREGMAN GO TO STACIS'S LECTURES. The module practice question that Bregman has are literally the exam. Goodluck!!

An excellent professor who is able to put statistics terminology into a form that us 19-20 year olds can understand clearly. Textbook use is optional, but is slightly helpful if you decide to pay the $120 for it. Homeworks are grueling and can take anywhere between 3-6 hours to complete.

Her reviews are useless. If you miss class at all you are screwed. Doesn't put any info on the syllabus. I wish I could read the textbook but we don't even have an enrollment key

You only need a D to pass this class (unless you're a SCM major). It is a tough class but if you put in the time and effort into it you can easily pass and understand the concepts. GO TO EVERY SINGLE CLASS, do the dailies because they are extra points added to the exam. 3 exams, 8 dailies per exam, 7-8 homeworks throughout semester. AMAZING PROF.

STAT 3331 has a reputation of being the most difficult class for Business majors but don't let that stop you from getting a good grade. The best way to approach this class is by creating a study group, go to tutoring, attend the HW and exam review sessions, and get access to Bregman's website from one of his students.

Overall she's a great professor. It's evident from her lectures that she wants all students to succeed. Make sure to pay attention to the wording on the exams and homework; I studied every day and almost received a B on the second exam due to questions being slightly reworded. This is not a difficult class, but it requires effort and diligence.

- First 2 days of class I had a headache because of her lectures. - But now I understand that Dr. Smith has taught will all her heart. - You have to come to class early and sit at the front, take all her notes (important), do daily to get extra credits for exams, HWs took me few hours to finish. Exams on CASA and on Saturdays, Sundays. -Good luck!

I took bregman but attended all of smith's lectures and pulled a B. Come to every lecture. Take notes, do the reviews, go to review sessions, and you will do fine. Don't psych yourself out but don't relax too much either. Stats is very do-able with her & I'm not even good at math. Go see her after class if you're really struggling, she'll help.

Best professor for this course, but you will need Bregman's practice problems too in order to make an A in this class. So take Bregman but go to Staci's lectures. This is what help me earn an A.

Getting an A in this course is do-able, you just really have to take time to do the HW's & Dailys. The exams are heavily curved with bonus credit opportunities. If you skip class you will not pass, Dr. Smith doesn't post notes but her notes in-class are extremely important (write everything down). Tip: go to the tutoring lab earlier for help.

You might here to take Bregman and go to her lectures, but honestly, I think you should just take her. She is very passionate about teaching, and about the subject. Yes, this class is difficult, but if you keep up with her, and do her recommended problems this class isn't back. The class has 3 test, homework, and that's it. Smith is amazing!

This class is not hard, but it is time consuming. Attendance isn't required, but I'd suggest it. Every day she lectures, she offers extra credit that usually take about 10-20 minutes and count as an extra point on her tests. She has 7 homework assignments and these are HARD and took me around 4 hours to finish. Tests resemble hw and extra credit.
