He knows his stuff and can come off a bit monotone but overall it was a very informative class! He was really good about making up work and the feedback he provided was better than most professors. He looks intimidating but if you talk to him, he's pretty nice, a little weird too.

He's useless and grades unnecessarily hard. He's boring and needs to. Retire because he's not doing this school any good. I would feel bad about being harsh but he clearly doesn't feel bad about being harsh with his grading.

Overall, I found he was flexible, professional and understanding. He might come across as a bit "weird" but if you look at his research interests - he's into a lot of Quantitative related studies which might explain it. He makes an ideal graduate coordinator. He's pretty detailed and good with communication and reminders. He is willing to assist students that make an effort, take initiative and ask questions - but if you don't he's not gonna feel sorry for you either.

I hated this class so much but had to take it. Ketterer is nice, he just needs to lighten up the workload. I had like nervous breakdowns throughout the semester. Syllabus is like 18 pages, that should tell you enough right there. IF you can avoid it, do. Otherwise, GOOD LUCK and I SYMPATHIZE.

Dont be scared by him on the first day of school. It gets easier. In class he acts like a hard-ass especially at first. Office hours are so much better. Lightens up a lot throughout the semester. Although reporting is a tough course, it could be worse.
