She is the most caring professor you'll find. If you go to her office hours, she will make sure you don't leave until you understand everything. You need to study a lot and be prepared to participate in class, but this is necessary for any language. She makes learning a new language fun. She is a hilarious and loves having fun while in class.

Professoressa Nedderman was the first professor to teach me Italian! I took Italian 101 with her and I signed up for her 102 class as well. She is so funny and will work hard to give your good feedback. Class participation matters - so speak up! Class is very discussion based, and she will call you out for not studying. Make sure to get the book.

Like any foreign language, this class requires a good amount of homework and time spent practicing the language. Actually study for tests and participate a lot in class -- it'll pay off. Professor Nedderman is really charismatic and she cares about student progress, always walking around to help and she's readily available in office hours.

This class is all about speaking, there is online homework and bookwork. This class is not hard, just speak once or twice a day and do the homework. She tells you exactly what will be on exams the day before in an email so study that and you will get an easy A. Pretty boring class, but it is fair.

Professor Nedderman is outgoing and fun, but the class requires a lot of work. It's the nature of a new language, but there is lots of homework. She expects in class participation, so you need to make sure you stay on top of your homework. She's a reasonable grader, and her classes are fun.

Professoressa Neddarman is the BEST!!! Seriously I loved her and her class. She keeps things lively and upbeat, but she also makes the language incredibly accessible. I learned so much. She is a tough grader, but if you put in the work and come to class, you'll be fine. I wish she taught all of my classes. She is hysterical.

She can be a little disorganized and speaks Italian often which is confusing, but that's cause she expects you to do the reading on time. The assignments and reading take so little time that they were almost fun because the book she chooses is GREAT and simple. She reviews the topics and loves discussion and questions. All I did was keep up (easy)!

She is an absolutely adorable little Italian lady. The class can sometimes be difficult because you can't understand what she's saying. Oral quizzes and written quizzes. Midterm is ok. Oral and written final. She does tell you everything that is on both so there are no surprises.

profesora nedderman was not organized, she spoke italian in class and on homework assignments, she was rude during presentations and her tests had the most random details on them that were never discussed in class. i will never take a class from her again.

Stefania is a great Italian teacher. Very knowledgeable and really wants you to learn. Very willing to meet with you or help you outside of class. She can be a bit unorganized, so attendance every day is a must. Also, its a 4 credit class so you will work very hard. Dont expect it to be like your high school language class.

Simple as this: No GU Italian profs are easy. If you are looking to get a language credit, take Spanish! If you like languages, if you're good at them, take Nedderman. If you like to slack, take a different language. For me it was a really easy A (like 10-minute a night homework), but I'm a language person. She's probably the best Italian prof.

Nedderman is great. She is funny, good at teaching, and really nice/understanding. She actually wants you to learn, more than any professor I've ever had. Every language teacher I've ever had always diverts from the book - it's not unusual or a bad thing. I highly recommend Nedderman.

She's amazingly fun to watch and very funny. Your 'A' is going to come from the hard work that you put into the class -- do your homework and study for tests. Honestly, it's that simple. So long as you put in the effort, you can do well.
