Very boring teacher. I never went to lectures other than the class before the test where he goes over problems that will be on the test. Pray that you get a good TA that will help you learn the material in recitation.

Dr. Clark is funny. The material is pretty boring. I went to a lot of classes and got a B+. The first test is much easier than the second two so beware. I took his night class and it wasn't bad.

First of all he isn't full of himself or "cold" to his students like many other professors seem to be. His occasional remarks of dry humor are entertaining. The class may be boring to many, but his teaching is fine and he makes it easy to get an A, so you can't complain.

I didn't go to his lectures often but the TA helped a lot. He always seemed to be too full of himself to help a lot. Tests are worth 3/4 of the grade so it's hard to make up for a bad grade.

do NOT take him. find another STA291 professor (there are better ones out there). He gives 3 exams (two, plus final) each worth 25% of your grade. HW and Quizzes count for the last 25%. His tests are 5 questions, each worth 20 pts. very hard class and professor. once again, take another professor in the STA Dept.

He is very boring and the online homework he gives us is extremely hard and has nothing to do with the class. If you have to take him make sure you get a good TA, even then it is still hard because his tests only have a few problems and he doesn't give you ANY equations. Terrible Professor! If you don't have to take him, DON'T!!!

Very clear and explanitory prof. I had stats in high school so I had a leg up. One of 3 freshman in the class. Lectures can get dull and monotonous, especially if you have prior knowlege. Very easy though and always willing to help and cut you a break for a missed class or quiz. Highly recommended.

One of the easiest classes I've taken so far at UK. Not a very interesting teacher, but he sells his notes at the beginning of the semester, so there's no reason whatsoever to go to his classes... Easy A !!
