You never thought you could care about plants this much. A super intelligent professor who wants all his students to be as psyched about chaparral as he is. Don't be surprised if you suddenly, somehow find yourself involved in things. You'll be better for it, trust me. And don't be surprised if you're suddenly in shape. Speed hikes do that to you.

The definition of a scientist and one of the most intelligent people I have ever met! You will eat, drink, sleep and breathe chaparral by the end of this course. Count how many times he says Malosma laurina, Angel Helms, and Anna Jacobsen from start to finish of the class; likely over 1000. Tough, fair, fun, and a good teacher. Highly recommended.

The chaparral obsessed grandpa you wish you had. Also the fastest man you will ever meet. He WILL out-hike you. And yes, you will learn to spell chaparral by the end. He loves to brag about his students. Not sure if he understands how many double entendres are in his root lecture, or if he says them on purpose. The only class I wish never ended.

Marine Bio, by far the easiest GE for your lab science. And Davis knows we're all junior/senior slackers who won't take Chem or Bio so he adjusts. Tests can be a little demanding, but definitely passible and Davis is awesome.
