Best professor I've ever had. Incredibly helpful and kind. Loves what he does, both writing and teaching. I recommend any class by Stephen Kimber.

I took Kimber's Narrative Non-Fiction class in 2010. He was incredibly helpful and supportive; he pushed me because he felt I was capable. As close to a "Deads Poet's Society" experience as I've ever come.

I took narrative nonfiction after boot camp. It was a welcome relief from the insanity. He's one of the coolest human beings!

one of my favourite profs. after 2 years in j-school I had lost my love for journalism, and Kimber managed to give it back. His narrative non-fiction class is a must for anyone who needs to remember why they decided to study journalism in the first place.

Fantastic prof. I wasn't sure what to expect from Intro to Narrative Non-fiction, but by the end I had signed up for the Advanced class. He was caring and clear and fun and easy to listen to. I have a lot of respect for him.

Great prof and a great guy. He made me love journalism. I graduated several years ago but I still turn to Stephen for advice. He is always there for his current and former students.
