Very clear and helpful professor. I wouldn't advise taking notes in class because he posts them, and the rate he goes through his lectures are very fast.

Steve is probably the greatest prof you will ever have. He makes his lectures very interested and goes through class at a fast pace to keep you engaged. He seems to finish lecture content about a week early which gives you tons of time to study for the final. Also, HIS HAIR, it is some of the nicest flow you will ever see, its so ferda.

Dr. Normans lectures are easily the best part about him. I took ENEL 353 and ENCM 339 with him and got an A- and an A. Currently taking ENCM 369 with him. When he pushes his hair back out of his face it's hard to regain my focus on the lecture content but, overall good professor.

-uploads all lectures online (mostly slides, occasional handwritten notes) -a considerable portion of the lecture slides aren't related to exams/quizzes, but almost all of the handwritten portion are definitely exam material. -labs were graded for completion, very easy labs -always 1 question on exam that's extremely hard (save this for last)

Dr. Norman is an excellent prof! His lectures are comprehensive, the labs are really helpful to further learn course material and the tests are reasonable, but not easy. He is very approachable and I would love to be in his class again.

I really enjoyed his classes! He clears all of your doubts by answering all your questions with a helpful response whether it is via email or after class. He is very knowledgeable about computing and will deliver the information very effectively to his students!! Would recommend taking a class with him. Can't wait for ENCM 369!!!

BEST NOTES EVER. Steve Norman is the best prof I have had to date. His notes and lectures are methodically organized to make your learning as effective as possible. Heavily recommend you attend his lectures because he is a superb teacher who understands when to stop and clarify a topic. You can still do well just studying off of his notes.

Excellent professor. This course is somewhat challenging. I'd say it's important to attend lectures and to do lab problems yourself. The labs will prepare you for exams. Ask Steve any questions you have (in person, doesn't reply emails) and he'll be willing to help. Amazing notes. Has a website with more practice problems than you'll ever need.

Really knowledgeable on any ENEL or ENCM class he teaches. AMAZING and organized notes that he also makes available online. Overall super clear and organized. Provides a lot of practices midterms and finals and doesn't hurt that he also has perfect hair!

This prof gives no respect to students, when ever you're asking something he might ask you to get lost to the end of the line cos your doubt is too big !! he has no respect for students, but as a prof he teaches good i admit that fact. but personally i hated him because of his attitude.

Stephen Norman is a truly great professor, he cares for his students, is very clear with his expectations, and outlines exactly what knowledge you need for his quizzes and tests. His knowledge runs deep in the course, and lots of related matters, he answers questions exceptionally. Also a silver fox.
