Here's an example of a professor who doesn't know what he is doing. He has tenure so he cannot be fired, trust me, they've tried. He tells you what to do and what it's worth but he marks completely different then what he has on the rubric. For ex, a 7 page essay, you will get a 50% for doing the 7 page essay and 100% for having one page of drawings

This professor may seem insane at first, but he is not. He is one of the people who will make you think outside of the box. He also doesn't care about your marks, but rather your attendance and being present. I certainly enjoyed being with him; he is one of the professors that I will remember long after graduating.

One of the most influential professors I had the pleasure of learning from in 2000 and 2001. He was ahead of his time. He is not a professor who is there to spoon-feed you - he is there to make you think, criticize, and engage in the content. Really right-brained stuff draped over mathematical architecture. (Digital Culture)(Multimedia & Design) This guy knows his $hi7. Eventhough the courses are titled as Computer Courses, he actually teaches you about life and how to succed in it. Make friends, socialize, always ask the why of things and always always re-read your essays at least 10 times befor hand it. Those are the most important lessons I learned

(History and Impact of Computing) I am both a history & computing student. He was extremely unclear about the assignments. It quickly became obvious that the key to doing well was catering to oddball preferences for the assignments (pictures, especially colour). Every 4th year COIS student I spoke with regarded him as a joke, and I can only agree.

Multimedia and design. The subject matter of the course was interesting, refreshing - and just plain cool. Regoczei was passionate about the material and just plain nuts! The people who gave this professor a poor rating didn't understand that lecturing isn't just about taking notes and writing down facts - Regoczei forces you to criticize!

This guy clearly should not be teaching anymore. He shows up late to every lecture, is often not willing to help anyone, and overall is very unprofessional. I also took his COIS 2800, which covered the EXACT SAME material. Want a guaranteed 80? take his classes. Came to school to learn? PLEASE don't! for your own sake!

Amazingly disorganized and random teaching style. Makes the class interesting, and you learn things without actually realizing that you are picking them up. Bring a laptop and get a mind mapping program, it will help with your note taking big time.
