Comment:

Hardest course I have ever taken. Steven was a wonderful professor who brought history to life, and inspired interest in a difficult topic for me to grasp (I've got no head for names and dates). He connected seemingly unrelated threads of medieval culture. I am not ashamed of the C+ I earned in his class...I learned so much, it was worth it.

Comment:

Hated his class. Good looking? The guy was not even 5 feet! very whimpish! I have to admit that he was approachable and helpful, but his discussions were based on the most trivial things and skimmed over imp't concepts. I'd strongly advice not to take his course. His jokes and flirting were unbearly irrating. Waste of $$. He needs reality check.

Dr.B is a great teacher. Im in grade 11 @ st.Mikes and he's teaching me world religions. Were almost done the course with about a month to go in the year so we went through it really fast although not too fast to keep up. I really look forward to his class everyday. GREAT TEACHER! (has an ego)

Whether or not the info was too much he was always there to help. All you have to do is ask. Bednarski has an ego? I think there were more hurt egos in the class than anyone else's being too big!

if you like massive egos, flurting, pgs of reading, massive list of names and dates and having the smallest details asked of you instead of testing what is important then this guy is for you. amazing cockiness for someone so young - needs reality check - avoid unless you like not utilizing your time

This guy knows his****. In fact he knows it too damn well. He was a great prof and his lecture style is good, albiet a bit too fast though if you tell him to slow down he will. He was a pleasure to have as a teacher. He needs to give out better presentation instructions. Straying is easy in this 1.

True enough a looker, however makes grandiose assumptions of what students actually know.Loves to hear himself talk and enjoys pointing out flaws in students' presentations while they are at the podium. Knows his stuff, put the pompous arrogance soon outweighs the cuteness

Good Prof but unaware of students limitation to take notes at his auctioneer talking speed. All notes are a jumble. Not enough direction on exams where obscure items are present while important items are omitted. Communication on what is important to him would help many, and what is superfluous also

Everybody seems to be in love with him, including himself. While not a bad teacher, I wish he had been more of a professor and less a movie star (i.e. less jokes, flirting and self-aggrandizing anecdotes).
