If you want to do good in his class, ignore what he says in class and just study right from the textbook. On the 1st midterm the highest mark was an 80, not that it was hard, it was all multiple choice, but all the choices were closely related in made it hard to choose between them.

Comment:

Not that great in a class such as HKin 215, but I have him again for HKin 432 and he is much better. He seems calmer and more easy going, like he enjoys teaching a more specific class with smaller numbers. Large improvement over 215. I would recommend taking his class: Psychology of Coaching. He doesn't use a book and he does post his notes online.

Never understood half the things he talked about in class. Could not follow his logic or where his lectures led. Did not understand what it was we were supposed to learn in the course. Talks way too much about himself and his research. Unbearable accent.

I hated this class, and what was worse I had him for Sports Psych and Motor Learning. If the class size was smaller I think he'd do better, but the man says one thing and then does another, especially when it comes to tests. Make sure you make him clarify if you even slightly don't understand what he is saying regarding midterms and exams.

Not the easiest class, BUT can't avoid it, you need it for the Kin degree. Words to the wise, if you could avoid him for this class, it would make learning the stuff a lot better, but since you can't, pay attention in class, takes notes, but when exam time rolls around...READ the book!!
