I went in with a vague affinity to calculus and came out with a distinct hatred for math. Not a very approachable teach; gives off a very uninviting air. If you can take it, fabulous. If you have other prof options, opt out for this one.

Expects you to know material from pre-req. classes. Can be somewhat sarcastic and crude, but has his funny moments. Provides throrough notes but not a lot of examples. Assignments were tough, but prepared u for the midterms. If you're all right at math u'll be fine, otherwise it may be tough.

worst prof ever!! he doesn't help with anything, even if you go into his office, he acts as if your a piece of crap and should know it already..and his ways of teaching are horrible! I would not recommend this teacher to ANYONEEEE!

his class was effective, with his methods of teaching. sometimes his class was a struggle to get through, only good when had subs in since they explained things much better than he could. His marking was hard, and it was nearly impossible to see him for additional help.

On the very first class he came dancing into the room, so yeah hes excited about math. He gives out too many derriving the formulas and useless stuff, when what you really need are simple examples. The two midterms are 3-4 pages so don't stress on them. Assignments are tough. The final was okay.

He is the funnest Math teacher I have ever had. His catchy phrases keep you into the lecture. If you have questions he will make sure you have the answer you need. He does spend a lot of time on formulas but you need them for future classes. He gives enough examples, otherwise take 104/105.

Worst prof I had..and I have had 27 classes so far..totally wouldn't recommend him..like an army brat. Really hard, not helpful if you don't understand math and impatient when I went to get help. Shy away from him.

Tough class and tough prof. He certainly expects the students to have the prerequistes for the course. However, he is extremely patient and helpful when you approach him in his office. Overall he's an amazing prof and tonnes of talent!

calculus sucks, but he loves it and makes it as interesting as calculus can be. he expects you to know prerequisit concepts well. for those of us not in the first three rows, its a tough class, but hes a good teacher.
