Mr. Steve's microbiology course is my favorite. You may not realize it because it's quite subtle, but everything he is going to test you on is mentioned in class. Take good notes and you'll do great, learn lots, and love bacteria. Lab sucks up a lot of time though...

Comment:

I chose to take Microbiology exclusively because I had Steve for my Cell Bio/Gen lab instructor, and he was good then. My interest was average, but Mr Steve's enthusiasm's infectious and I grew to love the subject. Take a course with him; very friendly, and cracks lots of Monty Python jokes. Go for it! Head's up: his Microbio is challenging!

Take lab with Mr. Steve. He is a really nice person who will give you extensions if you need help. That being said, he does expect a lot from you but he teaches you very well. My skills have improved dramatically. He is humorous and a great guy. I loved this class, even though it was 3h 20 mins.

Steve is super awesome and I hope they're paying him a lot of money. I graduated more than 10 years ago and I still think of him as one of my best profs at Mac.

Steve is incredibly inspiring and fun as a professor, but watch out for the phrase "type of thing" as it tends to get overused and he can be confusing as to what exactly you need to learn. But still... noone is more excited about the microworld than Steve!
