If you tell jokes, you get extra credit, which comes in handy later on down the line. Very funny teacher whose class is pretty simple to take, you've just got to make sure you get the material. If you are lost, ask him.

Tait is a great teacher and he does a good job explaining everything. I didn't know anything about economics before coming to his class and I learned a lot. He makes class enjoyable and fun. My only complaint is sometimes he can take jokes too far and be a jerk about it (without realizing)

Awesome experience! Learned a lot in this class. He jokes a lot, you can get extra credit for telling jokes. I didn't work too hard in this class and still got a B, still, I would suggest reading the textbook. Professor relates a lot to real world examples, sometimes class goes off topic, overall great class. Hoping to take this professor again.

Mr. Tait was a great teacher; he explained Microeconomics in a way that actually made it interesting. The tests are only difficult if you don't study and skip classes. He also gives extra credit if you bring in a joke.

He is a really nice guy, tells a lot of jokes and gives extra credit to anyone who tells a joke and you can tell a joke once per class, giving you the opportunity for as much extra credit as you want really. Very easy tests because he reviews with you a lot.

This guy is great. Read the text book, show up to class and you'll do fine. He provides study guides, real life examples, and is always willing to go over topics as many times as you need to understand the material. One of the best teachers I've had at CLC. Bring jokes- he give EC for them (for real).

Great teacher. As long as you read the book and payed attention in class, the tests and quizzes were easy. He made learning economics enjoyable as he related it to his own life.

I got to say Mr. Tait is on my Top 3 list of professor that I have taken and respected. He is very funny. He gets students involved and knows what he is talking about in terms of the material. I had him for both Eco 221 & 222 and I really enjoyed his courses. Highly Recommend taking is courses.

Macro is brutal. If you listen in class and have read the text, it will be apparent that those "ramblings" about his life are to help explain historically complex concepts in a simple manner. If you put forth and effort and ask for help, Prof. Tait is more than willing to help you succeed.

He likes to tell jokes in the beginning of class. He talks a lot about his life, which is interesting but we don't learn anything. Gives out a lot of extra credit after the test since average test scores are low.

Steve was a great professor, very funny, and made everything covered in class relate to something in the real-world. Enjoyed his class everyday, just make sure you're prepared for his fairly straight-forward multiple choice tests. They aren't incredibly difficult, but you'll want an hour or two of studying in beforehand.

very good teacher, lots of extra credit. Teacher is very helpful and stays after class to help and answers any questions you may have. If you read the book and study the terms and equations you should easily get an A in the class

Horrible for online. He never checks e-mails, I'm still waiting for about 3 days already. He doesnt use Blavkboard for test and homework, he uses some other site where you have to pay an extra $60. I failed because I was not aware what he does online. in person, a lot better. It sucks. Hopefully this helps. ONLINE is a BIG NO

Great teacher, everything on test IS covered during class. He makes learning fun, class is never dull and boring. He loves to help, if you need extra help he will ALWAYS help you. Lots of chances for extra credit. Teachers dont get much better at CLC to be honest. If you dont get a passing grade in class its because you just simply slacked off.

Great teacher! Does a good job making the material understandable and always willing to help if you have questions or don't understand. Not a hard grader but he expects you to do your part and read the book. Gives ample extra credit opportunities. Tells corny jokes during lecture but most relate to the material in some way. Would take him again.

He is alright, but it suck that i almost have to teach myself with this guy because all he wants to do is joke around. When u do get the test, most of it he didnt teach so if you didnt read the book or took notes from it, then youre screwed.

PROS-Jokes in class, extra credit opportunities, a teacher who tries to make the material more interesting CONS-Very hard tests, doesn't do the best job of teaching and explaining the material, tough to get a B, let alone an A, 25 point quizzes vs. 100 point tests *He will help students out a lot but poor test grades outweigh the extra help

Best professor I have had. He expects you to work hard and I believe your grade will reflect your effort level. He keeps economics interesting and is always willing to help. I also took him for ECO 221 adn highly recommend taking economics with him. Too bad teh school doesn't have a full time position for him.
