He lectures about random unrelated things, he doesn't have a filter on his mouth and says inappropriate things. You won't learn a single thing in the class, you will have to teach yourself the material for the test. He has "notes" but those are to remind him of what to say and doesn't make any since to the students. Pop quizzes but more like tests

This guy is the weirdest professor I have ever had and has no filter. There were many unprofessional and inappropriate statements made by him. He isn't organized either. We constantly had to remind him that we did not get lectured on things he claimed teaching. Gets very off topic and is annoying. I left his class annoyed many times. Easy class tho

I took this class online over the summer and it was a huge mistake! There is more work in the summer class than any semester class I've ever taken. Prof. didn't specify on any due dates, I had to email multiple times to ask him to make the homework available, and is very rude if you ask for help on anything. Would not recommend this prof.

Super nice guy, but a bad teacher. I leave his lectures knowing less than I did when I came. He seems to just ramble on about random subjects. I had to teach myself the material by reading the textbook, as that is where most of his test questions come from. His "notes" are virtually useless. Have to write a 12 page paper, but that wasn't too hard.

I've taken Dr. Worden for 3 different classes and never made less than a B. You don't have to go to every class, his exams are all definitions, and on the test he always curves up to 8-10 points. He sometimes takes attendance but usually doesn't care if you have a good excuse. the book you have to read them to get the definitions out of them

Really knows what he is talking about, but can occasionally be hard to follow, but anytime you are confused, a chat after class usually clears things up. It isn't a hard class, but you do need to be in class. The slides he puts up are more of guidlines than they are notes, the notes are what he is actually saying.

If you thoroughly enjoy psychology especially social psychology, take this class! Dr. Worden tells a lot of stories and makes the class interesting. If you talk to him about any concerns, he's pretty flexible. Like any other college class, you have to work and textbook I barely read and made an A in the class. Attend class and do the essay!

Very interesting material! He is an excellent lecturer, who is able to really draw your attention. The reading is a short chapter on a new topic every week. Of course he wants you to read, but his lectures pretty much cover what you need to know from the book. No papers to write, just straight forward multiple choice quizzes and tests.

I've had Dr. Worden twice now. Once for Religion & Society and currently for Social Psychology. I think he is an acquired taste, but personally, I love him! Once you get used to his lecture style and his testing style, the class is fairly easy & enjoyable! I've visited him during his office hours and he's willing to talk about just about anything!

Pretty Hard to get an A if that's what you're looking for. The class is really enjoyable however and he makes the topic pretty interesting. You need to READ the BOOKS for the class thoroughly and take notes from them in accordance to the study guide. Know everything inside and out, and you'll do decent. Hard class, but enjoyable. Long paper too.

Class was not mandatory, but had random attendance grades. These were worth 10 points and really hurt your grade if you were not there. He drops one test grade out of 4. He does give bonus opportunities. He's actually really nice if you go and talk to him and helpful. NEED TO READ THE TEXTBOOKS. I made my own notes and got an A because of it.

Dr. Worden lectures are all over the place. He speaks very fast and is not very interactive with his students. With the tests there are a big curve. The study guide helps! There is one big research paper that you turn in in three parts. Dr. Worden also gives attendance points that helps with your grade.

Horrible teacher, but easy class. Most of the grades are based off tests, and all of his questions in his study guides are found in his textbooks. Class is incredibly dull though and not very engaging.

Horrible teacher, but makes it easy to pass. Just use the study guide to and you'll be fine; all of the material in it is in his textbooks. But he is a horrible teacher and don't expect to learn a thing.

His notes are an unorganized jumble of thoughts. Tests and papers kept moving back so the syllabus was useless. Papers were unexplained and he's rarely on campus to meet.

I had Dr. Worden for Religion and Society and although he can be dry in his lectures at times & he goes off on little tangents, I really enjoyed him. He LOVES talking about Religion! If you keep up with the reading which is clearly stated in the syllabus the tests are fairly easy and he usually gives a lot of bonus on them! Give him a chance!!

Only take this class if you enjoy being confused and teaching yourself. Sure the class is easy, but only because he inflates grades by handing out tons of bonus points. I have honestly never had a professor who was worse at explaining the material, or who was worse at interacting with students in a positive way. Avoid at all costs!

I have taken three of his classes and while I was very interested in the subject matter Worden is a poor teacher. He has an amusing/quirky personality, but he does not do a good job in elaborating on his subject matter and often gets too lost in his own stories. He is a very easy/unchallenging professor.
