Comment:
His tests/quizes/teaching do not all tie in together. Very Outline driven (wordy) and really no actual teaching of what to do with the material or even how to use it in real life. No extra credit, not helpful outside of class for actually teaching more in depth material.

Works hard at getting a lot of information in the time permitted. Tests are hard, but fair. Makes you prepared for the real world. Would take class from him again.

Comment:
Lecture is more of a performance than teaching/instructing. Asking questions can cause a hinderance to his lecture outline and can tell that was not welcomed. Test questions are pulled for CPA exam for a beginning audit course. Lecture notes and book not matching up with test questions, Have no direction, expect a curve of 10-25 points per test.

You have to memorize the textbook and then some to pass one of Steve's tests. He is friendly and loves what he does but difficult to follow and tests are impossible.

"If you can't understand it, you're not listening." Steve likes to use abstract examples and doesn't follow his own outline.A curve for a recent test was 20 points, because the entire class "couldn't understand". Has a sense of humor? "Do you guys feel like bring on the exam #" (every test) & "In my day Wheaties w/beer was breakfast of champions
