Solid hard noised teacher, I learned a lot from him. However, he's a massive D head outside of class. Long story short, he accused me of cheating my sophomore year, failed me w/o an a academic trial. I forgot about it, until after graduation when I learned I would have to repeat a year. Great teacher, Meh morals, Throbbing D-word head.

Nice and engaging professor who is willing to work with you to help you understand Econ. I think this class (tests) was made way too difficult for an intro level course. However, he provides more than enough supplemental info to succeed. Go over the review sheets while you watch his videos. Helped me feel like I really knew what I was learning

Favorite class I have taken thus far. Crane was a very interesting man on a not so interesting subject. Crane made me actually like econ and enjoy coming to class. His tests are very challenging but if you pay attention during class and use his helpful videos you will do well.

Professor Crane is the best professor I have ever had. He started each class with a short, insignificant quiz (questions are almost identical to his exam questions), which allowed me to be certain I understand everything, keeping me from falling behind. He was enthusiastic, allowed corrections on exams, and adapted his teaching style as needed.

I LOVED Crane. Yes, the material is hard, yes the exams are challenging but he is an amazing quality professor. If you attend class and seek help when needed it shouldn't be too hard for you. I recommend his class

There is no doubt in my mind that he is a high quality teacher. He makes it very difficult to receive a good grade but he will make sure that you understand the material. If you're someone who's willing work hard, then I would highly recommend Crane.

Honestly Crane is such a great teacher, you will definitely understand all the concepts and ideas in econ. Also is energetic and so sitting through class is not bad at all. In class worksheets will clear things up, tests can be hard though, you NEED to study for them, other than that you should be fine!

Crane is very passionate about Econ and he really wants students to understand the material. His exams are difficult but he usually offers re-do exams for a third of the points back. He is an overall great professor, but if you're signed up for reverse classroom, get out of that class immediately.

Honestly I didn't think Crane was bad. He was energetic and personal each class and tried to teach us stuff about current events that would affect us. His test are hard, I went to the bell on each one. Since he didn't take attendance and almost all of the notes were online, I put in like 60% effort and got an AB in both beginning econs.

Professor Crane is an amazing teacher. If you consistently attend lecture it isn't too hard to understand the material. Quizzes/Reports/Discussions help to boost your grade. After each test he offers back 25% of missed points. I would take him again.

Really a great professor who lays out what he wants from you at the beginning of the semester. Is very clear about his subject and knows that people struggle with it but wants all to do well. My advice is go to class and use the resources he provides and you'll do just fine.

Yeah, this class isn't easy, but you'll learn a hell of a lot more from Crane than other Econ teachers. Pay attention and GO TO CLASS. He offers help on everything, email him with questions or go to office hours. Sure, there are easier teachers, but I would rather take a class where I have to learn and work for an A rather than get it handed to me.

Crane is an extremely interesting and nice guy but he is one of the most difficult teachers I have taken. He does his best to try and help you learn the material but his tests/quizzes are next to impossible. Be prepared to spend more time on this class than any other one. If not you WILL do bad.

He is tough. He may be one of the best professors at MU, he really knows economics and tries his best to explain the material by posting videos and will do his best explaining the material during office hours, but I would not recommend taking him unless you really want to work hard. His test are very difficult.

Best Professor I ever had. Made videos that were posted online to teach every concept he covered in class. No need to read the book. He explains everything thoroughly and makes sure you will remember the information. I am still amazed at the base level knowledge of econ that I learned in the class. Also, tests were simple if u watched the video.

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. The grade distribution for our class was terrible. Maybe 3 students got an A or AB and the rest of the 20 students got lower than a C, CD, D, and many with F's.
