Fantastic prof. He is one of my top 2 favorite profs I had while at asu. Steve is hilarious in class as well. Most people are not nuanced enough to enjoy unfortunately. A shame how weak some of the students on here are.. He single handedly taught me mathematics. I had him for both 371 and 472. Now in phd program..

He is not a good professor. He takes a long time to grade exams and finals. Exams are very hard. He does not seem interested in being a professor; he would rather just be paid for his research. I would not recommend him if you have options, but I suppose he is not the worst professor, so if you must take him, it will not be the end of the world.

Excellent teacher - listen take notes. Do all homework. Very difficult class - but you learn a lot if you try. His sense of humor is also hilarious, very subtle and most people don't realize it. Favorite Prof in math thus far..

MAT300 is a very difficult course, and Steve is an "ok" professor. If you have other decent options, I'd recommend taking someone else. His lectures are sometimes all over the place, and they're so long and boring it's so hard to pay attention. Tests are hard only because they cover a lot of tricky material. Homework is impossible too.

Calc II is difficult to begin with. Steve is a good teacher and really knows his math. He can be difficult at times because he covers more theory than necessary sometimes. We never knew our grade through the semester. He has a very quirky (but funny) sense of humor. The final was easy, but the exams can be difficult. All in all, he's decent.

I admire Dr. Kaliszewski as a pure math mathematician. You can tell he is a smart guy. His class sometimes seems boring and his midterms are not easy. Devote more time on his class, or you will fail.

This is a class for math majors. If you are anything but...take another instructor. good teacher, but incredibly difficult exams. curved at the end. i should have got a c, but rounded up to b. lots of proofs and definitions on exams.

This class is pretty easy at the beginning and pretty hard after half of the semester. Steven is very reasonable. He curves all exams. I don't like his teaching style. I depended a lot to the textbook and my boyfriend who took the class before.
