Just do it. You've already seen the other reviews, take him. He's a lot of fun, he assigns bizzare projects but you'll enjoy yourself because of how much you can express yourself in them. Hell, i just made some life-long friends out of his class. He gave me a heart to heart at the end of the semester i wont soon forget.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors at Suffolk. On the first day of class, he made us feel as if weve all been friends with our classmates for a long time. We have grown so close. I cant express how amazing this class is. It can be scary acting for the first time, but the environment is so supportive. Definitely a class that I hate leaving each day.

He's definitely a character. At first I thought this class would be too intense for me since I'm not even a theater major but the professor creates a comfortable environment where your classmates become your friends. Not an easy A but if you put a little effort in and show you care you'll do fine.

Get changed my life for the better. I have never been more impacted by someone, especially a professor. He will push you to become the best you that you can be. You won't want to miss his class because it won't feel like class. He cares a lot about his students. Just don't lie to him. Be up front and honest and he will respect you.

Geff is an AMAZING professor! Im in the middle of my first semester with him right now and i feel like its the best decision I've ever made. Our class has became a big family and he really cares for his students. He makes the class a safe place for all of us. He wont give you an easy A, he WILL make work for your grade. would take his class again

Gef, what we majors call him, or my buddy, who always calls him "G-Man". He will give you the tools to discover your gifts and abilities. I wish I could write more. He believes in all his students and never quits on anyone. Best professor at SCCC. The man is a genius, caring and inspirational. He pushes you beyond what you thought was possible.

A creative genius who should be in Hollywood or on Broadway directing and receiving the highest accolades and theatrical awards. I've taken his acting 1&2 classes the quality of training I received is up there with Yale Drama School. He will bring out your creative possibilities but you must work for the results.

He's awesome! I had him my very first semester at Suffolk in Fall 2010 and it was my favorite class. He's very clear about what he wants in his students and always gives everyone a chance. You need to work for an A though, he wont just give it to you but every scene we did was worth it. I highly recommend him.

Had him back in 2001 to 2002 for acting 1 & 2, fencing and acting for film and tv. I enjoyed this class he has alot of experience and I improved as an actor although these days Im not in the acting prossion although I speak weekly in front of large groups of people. I have no stage fright. Thanks Steve! As he used to say "everybody on stage"

He is an amazing teacher. I just took him for acting one and he taught me so much about acting and myself. He really cares for his students and he will push you. I got a B but i earned it. He will NOT give you an easy A at all so if you think this class is an easy or not important class you are wrong. he takes it very seriously, and teaches alot.

Greatest professor at Suffolk I've had. I'm a theatre major and he is the reason why I continue to love being a theatre major. He's a tough grader only because he is trying to push you. You will not get an "easy A" in any of his classes so you must put in a good deal of effort.

This is a great Man. He can teach you a lot if you let him. Always come to class prepared and don't give him any bullshyt and you'll do fine...He assigns a few reaction papers in this class a a few reading but the guts of this class was all about perfecting your skills and your scenes. The first scene requires you to bring in props from your home

I liked him as a person but he told us on the first day that work and preparedness would get us good grades (not acting ability); by final grade time came, the requirements changed. A girl who missed like 6 classes and was hardley prepared, cried in her final scene and ended up with a better grade than other students who were always prepared.
