Comment:

Best professor I've had at Marist!!! Rossi is truly inspirational and wants to see all his students succeed in the classroom and in the world. He focuses on teaching the concepts he thinks are more important. Lectures are interesting and go by quickly. Highly recommend!

There are only two tests, which make up 50% of your grade but he explicitly states what will be on them. There is a difficult essay that he grades harshly based on a required reading. Homeworks are easy 100% as long as you hand something in. Participation isn't required but it is strongly recommended. There is also a group project that is easy.

One of the best Professors I've had so far. Wants to see everyone do well. The class is hard but he takes time to go over homework and is willing to give extra credit. Is willing to meet if you need help. As long as you do the homework you'll get full credit. A few quizzes that are super easy and three test that you ar e prepared for.

Comment:

Professor Rossi can be tough if you aren't a finance concentration, but you won't find a super easy finance professor at Marist. The most important thing is that if you're willing to put in the effort, you can get the A. Professor Rossi also genuinely cares about what he's saying and tries to make it interesting. He does have you do homework every week, and his first test can be challenging, but he will make sure everyone has a chance to succeed.

His lectures were not boring and he had interesting things to say. Really cares about the students and gives lots of good feedback on homework and tests. He will help you out if you are struggling with the material. Would definitely take him again!

I had him from 6pm-9pm, always get out of class early and could tell when we were getting tired. Didn't just read off of a slide would actually have intelligent and interesting things to say. Quizzes were easy and only tested on things he talked about, not things 100 pages deep into the chapter.

He had two papers for the semester (Round 2- 8 weeks class). He had online chat every week, so you get to ask questions about the course material, test/papers or current events. He is a fair grader and comment on the homework or papers. Don't forget to ask for feedback. Overall, he was a great teacher. I would take him again.

3 tests, one homework assignment per week, and a few quizzes. It would be beneficial to be familiar with Excel. Rossi is a good teacher, not great. Grades homework and tests super easy, but the lectures are long and confusing. I had to teach myself a lot of the material. Rossi is more than willing to help anyone who asks.

I had Rossi for Accounting 203, 204, and Macroeconomics. He is the best teacher I've ever had. He truly cares about all his students. As long as you ask questions, read the chapters assigned, and take notes during class, you'll do very well. He basically gives you all the topics and questions for the tests. Rossi is also a very inspirational man.

Great guy! Very nice and funny, really dedicated to helping students. Homework every week, occasional quiz, 3 tests. Always makes himself available to meet you for help and genuinely cares. He knows his stuff! Quizzes are easy tests aren't that bad. I have him for a night class and he makes it not as bad.

Take him for financial management. He's an excellent teacher and he tells you exactly what will be on the tests. As an adjunct, he is probably available for extra help more often than most professors who work at Marist full time. Highly recommend!
