He is very much a fan of lecturing. If you have time to read the readings before class, it would help with discussion. Otherwise, TAKE LOTS OF NOTES and drink coffee. He's very approachable and smart. Quizzes are hard, but write a good paper, you'll do great.

Ok so the man is ok in my book. He is kind of corny because he laughs at his own jokes. If you get to know him, participate in class, and do all of the readings then you should be fine. The quizzes are hard, never got a decent grade on any of them but you can do well on the two assigned papers and get a good grade in the class.

uhh....yea....thats basically what its like. i mean he is a brilliant man and def. knows his stuff, but at 9:30 in the morning sitting there while he just talks and shows his power point..its not fun. his 6 quizzes are the hardest things i ever took and his papers are really hard. he says attendance is mandatory but he doesnt take it.i hate it

The class is horrendously boring but extremely easy. Its easiness is deceptive however and you will find yourself getting bad grades because of his multiple choice questions which are confusing and vague. Take him but be prepared to have an alarm clock with a long snooze

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY FOR FRESHMAN HISTORY. He's an ok teacher but his style is not recommended for freshmen classes. We had a 12-16 page paper due for his class our first semester. HORRIBLE.

Easy, nice guy, but it was the most monotonous, boring class I have ever experienced. He makes a lot of dumb jokes and laughs his arse off at every one. If you take him I would recommend a mwf class because you will want to kill yourself if you have to be in his class for too long.
